I ate at Taroko's twice on my recent trip to Ashland. They have a nice variety of food besides sushi.

The Sushi is excellent and you may sit at the counter and observe it's preparation while you enjoy the meal.
super fresh and tasty sushi. Nice list of saki as well. Their bar bites were a bit of a mixed bag - potstickers just fine, corn fritters a bit soggy, tempura good but not terrific (the shrimp however was top shelf, just like the rest...More
Good tamarind margarita and Japanese-version of a Manhatten. Good tempura, gyoza, and excellent sushi--especially enjoyed the chef's creation "zen." Reasonably priced for fine dining.
We were in Ashland for 5 days and had 4 dinners here, it was so good. They do a nice variety of sushi, plus some good nigiri. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
We have eaten here several times after seeing an afternoon performance or before an evening show at OSF. The food is extremely tasty, great variety and pleasant service.
We at here twice, both times were great. And it's family friendly. The waitress even played peek a boo when my daughter was done eating and decided to hide behind an empty table. Totally recommend.
There's always something surprising on this menu, whether an unusual appetizer or a smile-inducing cocktail. If you want somewhere to have a fantastic meal and conversation with your companion before or after a show, this is your spot.
We had dinner here before seeing a show - you can exit this restaurant via the back door and be right at your theater. Zach our waiter was very helpful in helping us decide what sushi to order - had avocado roll, sweet potato roll,...More
We stopped in during a downpour to get something warm for lunch. We ordered two bowls of soup, but the thoughtful waiter told us we needed only one. Was he ever right!
