Came in here because it was the best rated place in town and a review mentioned their chai tea so I gave it a try on the way to the park. The cashier was preoccupied and not personable at all! If it wouldn't have been for the barista greeting us with a smile I might have left....since the cashier basically... More

I am in Ashland a few times a year, and always go out of my way to visit Noble. Noble caters to coffee aficionados without being pretentious. They roast their own beans and the folks working there have a thorough knowledge of the coffees they offer. It is a wonderful place to spend an hour reading and drinking splendid coffee.

Thank S B
Management response:

It's always nice to hear that we're doing a good job, not only with our tasty coffee but with sharing what we know in a humble and genuine way. We loved this coffee shop. It is very warm and welcoming and everyone there was friendly and helpful. The coffee itself was delicious. You must go here during your visit to Ashland. We decided to take some beans home with us given how awesome they are.

Great wood and industrial atmosphere, excellent coffee in Ashland's railroad district. Lots of seating, both table/chair seating as well as comfy chairs for longer stays. They don't just make and sell drinks, they also are a roaster, so their coffee is available in 12 oz bags to take home. Recommended.

We stopped overnight in Ashland and were fortunate enough to discover Noble Coffee Roasting...didn't expect such a high end coffee roaster in a relatively small town. Quaint historic area with some very interesting-looking boutiques. As for the cafe, you'll relax the moment you walk in. Spacious, light-filled cafe, attractive decor with plenty of seating. Friendly, knowledgeable staff with a top-notch... More

We've mostly been away from coffee for the last several years, except for the occasional after-dinner cappuccino. Noble Coffee enticed us to stop by and partake, and as Seattleites used to Starbuck's, we were surprised and delighted by the mellow coffee blends they had on offer. We will most likely be doing some mail ordering of their fine products, available via... There are many coffee houses, and several roasters, in this artsy town. You can do better. "Artisan" means that this one is among the most overpriced. Yeah, the coffee can be good here; but $3 for a cup pumped out of a thermos (it wasn't even hot--how long had it been in there?) is not worth it.

Good enough that we took a couple of bags of beans with us - they roast it right there. Relaxed open space to sip and enjoy. Lots of locals because it's a few blocks away from the main drag where most of the tourists congregate.

Their drip coffee's are always great, although they charge $3 with no refills. Their espresso always tastes too acidic and almost sour to me.
