An excellent choice for locally produced pizza. A nice selection at reasonable prizes. Occassionally quality is not 100% but that is to be expected in a busy shop.

Super selection of speciality pies and one silly, irrelevant owner! Avalanche also has a great booth at the local farmers market where every week the owner tries out new wonderful, outrageous combinations in both bread and pizza categories. Always something creative and tasty. I also like that you can stop by the store and get a quick slice to go... More
I love NY style pizza and this was delicious. My husband and I stopped in during the week to order a pizza. The staff was super friendly and they were running a three topping large pizza special so we went with that. Our pizza was ready in less than 15 minutes and it was very tasty, even when we ate... Ordered takeout and went for a typical red sauce pizza with meatballs. Delivered hot and on time, delicious and fresh. Greek salad was very fresh. Sizable portions and reasonable prices.
We had a small K-2 (supreme style) and a small San Andreas (California veggie) delivered to our hotel room. Crusts were really nice. Not too think or thin. The key thing I noticed was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. BTW, the small is quite enough for an individual. This was a treat.

We did a night of take out, as this place was recommended as a family favorite. We had 3 really unique pizzas, and all were really enjoyable. We had a pesto-onion-green pepper- feta pizza, a meatball-potato-sweet corn pizza, and a roasted garlic-spinach-zucchini pizza. You can't even imagine all of the toppings they offer! They also have a spelt crust for... More
