The special far exceeded my expectations. Tom Yum Chicken Soup, Pla Rad Pick with catfish, and Sticky Rice With Coconut Custard were all outstanding and I could not have had a more delightful meal including ambiance, service, and food.

Wonderful dinner. I had the Kang Pak with tofu and my husband had Pad Thai. Satay chicken was yummy with peanut sauce. We'll be back! Cambodian owners have been there 17 years. There's a reason, she knows how to cook authentic

Several years ago, when this restaurant first opened it was actually quite good. Fast forward, the owner shut down temporarily while she went home to Thailand to attended to a sick relative. When the restaurant re-opened, I don't think it was the same cook staff. The dish went from being good-great to being just so-so. I have had better Thai... More

A group of us go out to eat after church. Taste Of Asia is a regular on our list. Food is always hot and GOOD. You can have any dish regular as it appears on the menu or order more of less spice. I have been to Thailand while in the Navy and the food here is just like what... More

Taste of Asia is one of the best restaurants in Asheboro - the food is freshly prepared, they can tailor the "temperature" to your likes, and you get a reasonable amount of food for the price. Wait staff attends to your needs. Daily lunch specials are a fantastic value (compared with fast food garbage) and the dinner special with appetizer,... More

Nothing in particular actually, sadly. It was the appearance of tofu on the menu here that tempted us with the promise of something other than eggs for the vegetarian. In fairness there was tofu and the vegetables in that "curry" were well cooked. But the sauce had very limited flavour and wasn't recognisable as a curry as far as we... More

My wife would eat every meal here if she could. I like it too! Wasn't sure what to make of the fresh spring rolls when we first saw them, but tasting made us fresh spring roll fans for life. The squid "calamari" is the best we've found anywhere in the world.

Since Asheboro does not have an abundance of restaurants, aside from chains, fast food and barbecue, - and most on Dixie Drive, it is worth it to find Taste of Thai. Generous serving sizes of delicious selections in a wide variety. If you want vegetarian they will substitute tofu in any menu item that typically has meat or sea food.

Our favorite restaurant in Asheboro for lunch or dinner,...we often include variety of out of town friends who equally enjoy. Though the Horapa is listed as "hot or spicy", give it a try ...it is one of the best SE asian flavor experiences available... Pad Thai, hot chili fish, and plad rot fish dishes are also favorities. A variety of... More
