If you're craving for a fusion of Fil-Mex, this is the place to be. They have a quite big serving so it is good for sharing. The overall ambiance of the resto and the service are also great. But I like most in our dining experience is their craft beer. I'll definitely have this one again on my next visit.

the place is cozy, the staff and owners are friendly, a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I fell inlove with the colorful nachos, burritos and chimichurri! I love the desserts, too! The food is worth the wait!

I remember Cocina Juan as one of the hole in the wall places in maginhawa. My 1st experience was a blast, way back as a college student I always walked the streets not looking for something but really just walking.. waisting time :) One of those days I saw this somewhat restaurant looking place near the local carenderia and said... Checked out this place last night with my wife and daughter as this struck me as different along the Maginhawa strip. Scanned the menu and looks interesting with a good range of variety. However, when we started ordering there are so many things not available. I ordered a medio Burrito and was told only the grande was available? WTH can... More

I am a fan of Cocina Juan. I have made several trips to Cocina Juan. It is the nearest and most convenient restaurant if I want some Mexican food. It is a tiny place, but it is this cozyness that is also a charm. On regular visits, when the owner/family is not advised of me and my close friends' visit,... More

My Cocina Juan experience is quite a memorable one—for hilarious and story-telling-worthy reasons. The place is quite small, it can probably seat around 15 people max at a time (or even less) inside the restaurant, although there are tables outside. It shares the space with Cupcake by Gremlins. I like that the servers were very polite and accommodating and their... More

We've been a fan of this place since 2008 when they were still called Kusina ni Maria to Kusina ni Juan and now to trendier Cocina Juan. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful date here one afternoon. Although they seemed like they just opened their doors at about 10am they cordially invited us in and happily took our orders.... More

Had a reunion here with former colleagues, and in all irony, like all other places in the area, is unique and cozy. You expect any place to eat along Maginhawa to be kitschy/ artistic/ creative yet still offer great food at reasonable prices. Cocina Juan satisfies all requirements. We went for Saturday lunch, and the place was quiet, also casual... More
