My friends introduced me to Miensan and I keep on going back after that first visit in their branch along Gilmore - Ortigas avenue, that road where there are many Christmas lanterns being sold on your way to greenhills. For starters, we love their steamed kuchay dumplings and their rice toppings if you are going solo. For shared family dishes,... More

Mien San is one of those you only get to know by word of mouth. It does not advertise, either thru the traditional ad placements or the less-than-subtle mentions in various food blogs. Yet it has a following among those who long for uncomplicated Chinese food. All the familiar favorites are there, pata tim, steamed chicken, dumplings and of course,... More

Great noodle place if you crave for comfort food. They have a great selection of noodles to choose from beef, pork to chicken. Must try is the original beef noodle.

I tried the famed beef tendon noodle soup but found it to be unexceptional. It is good but not THAT good. It is definitely not worth the Php380~ price, more of Php200 maximum. Their siopao, however, is top notch and priced right, same with the shrimp dumplings. Pata tim was also quite good.

Beef tendon noodle soup is one of my favorites and they did it right! Big chunks of tendon with meat in a mouth watering broth that has been studiously slow cooked without shortcuts. For the service and delicious food, this is the place to be on a rainy night. If you like your soup spicy you can request it. Go... More

An unplanned stop while finding a place to park for a meet up. The restaurant is simple and unassuming not much diner that Saturday afternoon. There were 3 of us and we looked through their menu and opted for an order of shrimp dumpling, roast pork buns, mantou and fish congee, Well, except for the usual steam bun, the dumpling,... More

We enjoyed their xiao long bao. It had approximate Din Tai Fung's version of the famous chinese dish, with less cost. Their yang chow fried rice and brocolli beef was also good. But the dining place, services and parking is terrible. It seems the maximum parking slot is 4 vehicle. You have to order as soon as you arrive cause... More

If you've dined here, you're lucky you were able to park. Don't think there's an off peak here - it's always full! I've tried most of their dishes and they're all authentic Taiwanese. I love their jian pao! Tastes a lot like the one in Taiwan night markets!

If you are craving for heavenly beef soup that nourishes the body and soul, Mien San's Spicy Beef Noodle Soup is for you. The beef tendon and the spicy beef brisket are mouth watering, and the spicy soup will leave you begging for more. The Shanghai Dumplings are also good, but not as good as the original ones from Shanghai.

Had lunch with hubby yesterday, Feb 25, 2016, at Mien San. The restaurant was almost full at 11:30am. Ground floor seating is good for 40pax. It's a little cramped with modest interior & furnishings. Place was clean, orderly and not smelly. Staff were attentive & helpful. The place has very limited parking slots infront. We decided to order the simplest... More
