We are in our early 20s but are now in search of "tita restos". These restos are characterized by beautiful yellow lightings and interior design, shelves, glass doors, nice ambience and quiet. People are talking in their low voices. A resto which a "tita" would approved. Food. We orders pork ribs and devil's cake. The pork ribs is soft and... More

My family & I were so happy that we made a reservation to casa roces for Mother's Day celebration. We do enjoy the food that served to us. Good service... nice ambience, cozy atmosphere, and we were able to reserve a private room for our family on that very special occasion. They serve buffet for the special occasion but we... More

If you like "salted foods", then come to this place! Adobo, noodles, almost everything in their menu. Their desserts, super sweet !

But it was such a letdown! I got the pork belly binagoongan, and it tasted like all the salt on earth was in my dish. It was that salty! I asked my companions about their orders, and only two answered effusively positive. They got the chicken adobo, and apparently they always order that when they are in Casa Roces. The... More

This place is sort of an what do you call as ancestral home converted into a casual restaurant . No strict attire requirements . Fine ambiance . Nice decors . The place being inside the Malacanang compound made it unique . So be wary of military or political personnel that could be having meals there. No parking area but they... More

We visited the place with some guests which work at Malacanan. We arrived at lunch time, and the most of the dishes we wanted to order was out of stock! Then we wanted to order their Sole Fillet Dish, and the waiter only told us when one of our guest ask what kind of fish is the "SOLE" that this... More

Casa Roces is situated just across the Malacanan Palace. If you are in the San Miguel area this restaurant is worth a visit. This restaurant has won awards over the years so this speaks for itself. Reservations might be a good idea as when I visited, the place was packed full. It opens for breakfast and on to lunch and... More

The ambiance is better than the food! Not everything is good so you have to choose from the menu carefully. The salmon wellington was dry & bland. The mushroom fritters is a good way to start. The paella valencia & lechon paksiw de conchinillo are just okay. the Lengua melts in your mouth. The malacanan souffle is sweet with a... More

Actually, this is our favorite restaurant near our place. Not accessible due to its location (inside Malacanang) but the choices of food and taste, also the ambiance and service...really superb! The bacon, roasted chicken and even the smores, my kids really loved it!

It started well with the onion soup. I eagerly finished it to move on to the entree, lechon paksiw cochinillo, and was surprised by how tough the meat was. It had a twist as it was served with a mango salsa that i thought was distracting but this and the fact that the meat was tough made this trip a... More
