We stopped at Anchor Cafe after a visit to Petite Anse, not knowing what to expect but we were starving and didn't care. As it turns out, our stomachs picked very well, because Anchor Cafe was one of the best meals we had on Mahe. I got the fish and chips, which were very tasty and some of the best... More

We went to Anchor cafe at night around 09:20 pm, we were all together 6 friends and when the server came she greeted us with smile and told us to hurry up in ordering as they are about to close the kitchen. We sat at the outer area of the cafe because it was beautiful full moon with a little... More

Food was ok and not up to our expectation as the rice was looks and taste as old we ordered shrimps and were not cleaned, staff were not so much friendly, better to go after the sunset as they don't have fan if the weather is hot. price was to high comparing with the food and the service.

This is our go to restaurant for family meals. We have only ever been in the afternoon when it tends to be quiet. The food is still good, plentiful and reasonable priced. The drinks and deserts are a bit expensive. Service is excellent, however we did book in advance for a party of 8 and there were only two other... More

We called here on the way back from Victoria after a day trip to Praslin Island so were hungry and casually dressed. Simple decor and menu but lovely food and attentive service from all staff. My mum had the sail fish which was a huge portion and very tasty. I had the fish curry which was mildly spicy and aromatic.
