Seriously, the menu selection was dull, boring and quality stuff off the menu, don't expect to find Unagi, scallops, cod or mussels... if you are a chicken lover, u can find all sorts of chicken variety from ur Katsu to karage. For teppanyaki fish... I can believe they serve tilapia. The only upside, the sashimi is fresh and the don... More

I lived in Japan for 18 months, so I'm a bit picky about Japanese food, but the chefs here know what they are doing! Our food was well prepared and delicious. The service was up to the high standard of the food. The restaurant decor was lovely and luxurious. A very nice dining experience.

Came for the sunday buffet and must admit I didn't enjoy it at all. Things were not really fresh. However for lunch at weekdays, this place is great. Good menu selection, service is quick.

Enjoyed this beautiful extensive buffet twice, an amazing array of asian and western foods fresh and cooked to order. Could have stayed all day. Wonderful.

"Well worth a visit” A really good venue for a relaxed meal with lots of Japanese dishes. The Asian-fusion works with excellent flavours and plenty of choice. Everything we tried was a success - the best oysters, prawns, scallops, mussells and other fresh seafood you can eat. There was a choice of shashimi ,shushi, teppanyakki, miso soup, ramen noodles, fish cooked in different... More

We come here for breakfast during our stay in shangri-la kuala lumpur. Food served from western foods, breads, local and asian food quite tasty. They prove quite a great variety choice of dishes. However place seems quite cramp and could not accomodate crowd. They seems did not provide fresh juice and the juice taste extremely sweet and very watery.

I have always favored Shang for its great food but I must say, they have just become very "vanilla" with Zipangu. Nothing special with the food and the lack of attentiveness from the staff was very un-Shang. They have been well overtaken by Tatsu Japanese Restaurant at the InterContinental KL. This is where I'll take my clients now. I hope... More

We had dinner with friends to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is modern, minimalist, nice decorated with water features, garden and a walk thru cellar. The kitchen is the star of the place They accommodate our group ( 9 ) in a nice private room. The server was very professional and answered all our questions. The restaurant has different set... Overall very nice experience. Fresh fish and seafood, attentive staff, pricing as expected. Even their seafood fried rice was nice. From starters to desserts including cocktails, no disappointment.
