Our long awaited second time visit to Nathalie Gourmet after our wonderful dinning experience in kl which they have relocated to Publika now.Their French tapas was a tad too heavy for me which is an individual opinion.Enjoy the flavours, creativity on each plate. The whole...journey took about 210mins and hardly noticeable. Waiting staff was just reciting the menu and would appreciate more genuity and life in this area of explaining and engaging the customers. Overall a satisfied experience and will be back for Sunday brunchMore

Sunday brunch at its finest. Nathalie Gourmet Studio makes history by offering the best brunch spread I have ever had. Although we have lived in this city for 5 years, we have never ventured to dine in NGS except for once - ordering a galette...de roi for epiphany. The opportunity we were waiting for came when we had a Sunday Brunch arranged with friends elsewhere but the allure of foie gras on the brunch main course menu plus a dessert buffet was simply too hard to ignore. One of the struggles we had was catering for our kids’ palate that would not easily go for complicated fusion menu and still honour the ‘no to food waste’ code. The chef kindly accommodated our request for savoury crepe with turkey ham and cheese. The rest of our experience went smoothly. The waiting staff was very attentive. The main courses and cheese plate we had were visually appetising and flavourful. The desserts of canele, chouquette, l’île flottante, assorted fruit tarts, mini fruit salad, gluten free mousse au chocolat (among many other choices) did not disappoint. Nathalie, the chef, herself was assisting clients and sharing what makes certain creations extra special. The recipe of her grandmother for île flottante was definitely my favourite. The acoustics were unfortunately not ideal for the jovial Sunday brunch crowd that came. Nevertheless, it was convivial, cheerful and delightful. The verdict: What a wonderful treat we had today to fight off the dampened spirits of COVID-19-induced fear. I’m off to recommending this to KL-based friends now... :0)More

We were told to come 1 hr before and made us wait while they cleared the waiting area of a previous function. There was no complimentary cocktails(when asked after the visit they said only for the Platinum package which they did not specify). The food was bland...and my partner's vegan meal was tasteless. Also they don't give you a drink menu they ask if you like champagne or wine and it is 1 bottle so be prepared to pay without knowing the price. The experience was 60 mins and not 90 mins as they mentioned. We felt the service was mechanical and rushed.More

First off, it is pricey. And that is actually a good thing, because you get what you pay for. Quality ingredients, subtle flavours & immaculate presentation! I had the vegetarian options & didn’t feel “left out”. The other 3 thoroughly enjoyed their meaty dishes.

We had a vegetarian starter - it was tasty yummy. The mains - I had a eggplant vegetarian and hubby had chicken with mustard pastry - very good and would recommend for those who fancy French

My girlfriend and I decided to spend our Valentines dinner at Nathalie's Gourmet Studio to try their degustation menu specifically for valentine's day! Their menu cost RM350 per person and initially, we thought it was a little steep but after the meal, we changed our...minds as the whole experience was amazing and worth every penny! The studio was nicely decorated as each table had a single rose and rose petals spread out and it was nice as we could observe the chef and her team preparing each dish with precise detail and attention. We were treated to a 10-course meal which was excellent and this was our first time having French food and a fine dining experience! I'm not gonna describe every course but just highlight the ones that caught my attention. First was the caviar and cauliflower dish where I thought the flavors went so well together that I rushed to finish the dish! Next would be the foie gras, admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of this dish in the past as I'm usually against eating organs of any kind but she made the dish tolerable for someone who can't stand the taste of organs as the broth she served in it was perfect and matched the intense flavor of the foie gras very very well! Lastly, we were served the "from the bottom of my heart" dessert which was amazing, it was served with a berry coulis and there were so many components on this dish that blended so well together, it was a great way to end our meal! Furthermore, we were greeted by Chef Nathalie herself asking us how our meal went and what could be improved on plus she was nice enough to take a picture with us! My only feedback is that the timing between each course could have been better as there was a short period where we had to wait quite a while for the scallop course to be served but other than that, I would definitely eat here again and recommend this place to others who want a unique fine dining experience!!More

It was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the menue and the taste of each platers. We had the luck to meet Chef Nathalie who came herself to know if everything was ok. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Whimsy, curated by NGS, is an interactive multi sensory fine dining experience, I would guess which will very soon become a trend in more places. We were served finger food and iced drinks while waiting to be seated. Then we were shown into a room...with a oblong table of 10 communal seats. Each seating has the guest's name on it and the surrounded walls had images projected on it. Very cool. It was a 5 course fine dining at RM699.00 and you have the option to include wine with additional charges. I super love the hot toasty bread served. My favorite course was the 2nd course (In The Woods) of soup which had duck and truffle broth, and the 3rd course (Under Water) of Hokkaido scallop with poached oyster, very delicious. Each course is accompanied by a projection that matches the theme of the dish. There was also a digital hostess taking us through our experience and another actual hostess explaining each course to the diners in details. I was not impressed with the main course of veal with paella risotto, and dessert was just average. Service was good. Overall a great experience and at one point we were given an ipad each to draw or write a wish which will then be projected onto the wall immediately. I thought that was really cool.More

Having been here several times, it is more than fair to say that great thought and care have gone into the choice of menu (which is frequently changed), the superior ingredients used, and the preparation of each dish. Flavour and texture are delectably balanced, and...presentation is nothing short of stunning. Do leave room for dessert, or order them in advance to go as they are truly spectacular. My favourites are the luscious lime and yogurt cake, the ambrosial destructured red fruit amandine tart, the delicate summery strawberry tiramisu, and of course, the famous macarons. These airy yet firm morsels of delight come in a spectrum of scrumptious flavours and beautiful colours - from the prettiest pastels to the darkest liquorice shade, all dyed using only organic food colouring imported from France. For those who wish to hone their culinary skills, or replicate the restaurant’s dishes at home, Chef Nathalie also offers cooking classes. Banish all thoughts of a hot tempered, razor-sharp tongued chef; with Chef Nathalie, you are in safe hands. She is affable, patient, kind, generous, and funny, and being a self-taught chef, she clearly knows her audience - she anticipates questions one may ask and highlights potential mistakes one may make, and gives clear guidance that a novice can understand, and creative solutions without compromising the final result. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough.More
