After weeks of Japanese food, this was a welcome change. We had a lovely dinner here, and the crab gratin pasta was delicious - creamy, with just enough spice to pack a bit of a punch. Definitely order the hurricane cocktail...it's fantastic and left me pleasantly buzzed.

Excellent food. I had the pleasure of visiting here. It was my 1st experience with American cuisine. And I was surprised at what I've been missing!. Highly recommend the gumbo for lovers of spicy food. I also heard they hold music events here too.

Love this place. Restaurant? Bar? Live house? Depends on the time and the day. Well worth a visit for the soft shell crab and red velvet cake pudding alone. And if you are luckily you might find some live music. A friendly atmosphere.

The food is great, and the owner/cheff, CC, is very friendly! I'm from Jackson, MS -- just two hours from New Orleans -- and this place really takes me home! I will say, however, that the portions are NOT New Orleans sizes, but Japan sizes. Maybe that's not bad. Who wants to look like they are from New Orleans?

So I found a New Orleans restaurant in Osaka. I read the reviews and honestly I was really missing creole food. I used to live in Louisiana for a few years. So I was very excited to find this place but also very skeptical, because let's face it people lie about food being creole all the time. I was not... More

I've been here for over 30 years. I know where the best of the standards are when that's what I'm interested in. When I'm not, I'm looking for new places that don't just defrost a fad food for you, but are trying to sincerely bring something new and exciting onto the scene. Bistro New Orleans did and does that. The... More

Excellent menu. Owner, CC Haydel, is a gregarious NO native who knows his stuff. Definitely go for the gumbo. And his sandwiches are great. Has some unusual cocktails. Central location in trendy Horie district.
