Best soya sauce soup ramen in my trip! And I'm one of the pickiest ramen persons. Even though the queue was really long cos the restaurant is about 20 persons capacity, but the staffs have been trying their best to fasten it, the first 2-3...More

There’s a queue outside the shop with a mix of tourists and workers. Waited half an hour at 8pm on a Wednesday night. Menu is in many languages and no problem ordering. Ramen is rich but too salty to appreciate. Some locals eat rice with...More

Excellent soups in large portions. Reasonable price. We were looking for a local Japanese place not necessarily crowded with tourists and we found this restaurant that, although very popular if we judge by the queue at the entrance, it still maintains a local atmosphere and...More

Ramen tastes normal, do not really understand what the hype is abt. Not worth the queue. Portion is big and price is very reasonable though.

Sure, you most likely have to wait about 15 to 30 minutes to get your soup, but its totaly worth it! There is a lot of meat in the soup. Try it!

There's a huge line at all times, but you'll notice it's only locals, not a tourist hotspot at all which makes it even better. Menu options are limited, if you don't enjoy ramen, you will not have a good time. Super cheap as well.

Shimogyo-ku is centered around the busy train hub,
Kyoto Station. A nexus for commerce, shopping, dining,
and hotels, the Shimogyo-ku area is infused with
tourists and local business travelers, making it a
competitive location for ever-new commercial
structures. The shops and cafes here are chic and
trendy, as a result, with many recognizable chains.
