I came to this place with my brother. We got in just before 11 for the Breakfast set menu, which was quite average but a good portion size for the cost, and the coffee was good. Not sure if it was playing up to a...More

This place is a throwback to the 70s with interior design and the waiter uniforms. It was recommended by our hotel concierge as really fantastic coffee... so I was left a little underwhelmed when I ordered the Colombian blend. The food is very basic and...More

Fast service and very relaxing ambience to enjoy their value for money tea set. The Arabian Pearl coffee is so aromatic! We enjoyed our Apple Kuchen and Kirsch Torte cakes. The former is better. Highly recommend a visit. Very chill out place.

When we walked in this kissaten, we were greeted by a grumpy waiter who waved us to our seats. This was surprising because the Japanese are known to give exceptional service. The decor of the place is 1960s Western-Asian and it seemed like the place...More

No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its
