Everything that Kaiseki has to offer but modern and inventive and no stuffiness. Make a reservation to sit at the bar see all the chefs at work. To miss this and sit upstairs would be to miss out on this marvelous experience. The food was...More

Top Japanese cuisine with the chefs cooking each for 3-4 people in front of you. Lovely set dinner of 8 dishes for 4200 yen. Presentation is top class, wine is good, quantities are rather minimalist so just be prepared :)

The food here was delicious, inventive, beautifully presented and memorable. Sit at the counter around the open kitchen for the full experience. The chef is fun to watch and the whole team works hard to make the meal accessible for non-Japanese speakers. But if you...More

We booked to sit at the bar for our evening here. We could then watch the chefs in action preparing our dishes. It was a 6 or 7 course meal of small dishes. All yummy all different. The nice thing about sitting at the bar...More

Our Airbnb host recommended Guilo Guilo, which we would not have found without his advice, and we could not have enjoyed a dinner more. 15 seats at the counter, 20 at tables upstairs. The 8 courses were each beautifully prepared and presented, with explanations of...More
