Okonomiyaki is a kind of Japanese "pizza". They prepare it in front of you with the ingredients you ask for. It's quite yummy. The staff is very friendly and the Okonomiyakis, quite good. Very reasonable price.

The mazeman ramen with extra chashu pork and the fried chicken are some of the best eats we’ve had here in Japan.

Visited this lovely restaurant based on the reviews and it didn't disappoint. Friendly greeting, English menu and the best food we've had so far in Japan! Ramen, Gyoza and fried chicken with rice to soak up the amazing sauce with 2 beers for 3100 yen....Excellent value and amazing food!More

Ended up here three times in three days. The best 'dry' ramen example over several weeks in Japan. Small venue and you may need to wait outside at peak times. Chicken and side dishes are great.

Literally around the corner from the Sotetsu Grand Fresa. The staff were extremely friendly and produced the english menu straight away. This place has so many tasty dishes (see menu photos.) Beer is icy cold and nice to try ramen in a sauce for a...change. We went for dinner but lunch would also be great. Seating is bar style. Had two kiddies seat attachments that we saw.More

Went to this restaurant our first night in Hiroshima as it was just round the corner from our hotel. The Mazeman Ramen was brilliant went for the medium spice that was perfect heat and the taste of the pork and noodles were delicious. Topped off...with an ice cold beer and some fried dumplings. The staff were great, welcoming and spoke good english as well as having an English menu so ordering was not a problem for us at all. The order is done directly with the staff being the counter so you will have no issues having to use a vending machine in Japanese to order your meal. A very successful, quick and tasty meal.More

The food here is wonderful. Very simple menu focused on mazemen. You can pick between 5 sizes (I got large, it was recommended for 2 persons but I ate the lot!) and 7 levels of spice (I got the max (7) and it was great!...All the food is cooked in front of you. Also dry out the ice frosted draught beers. Would highly recommend!More

This is a small family run counter restaurant specializing in one dish, spicy noodles, although there are a few things you can add. You can choose your chilli level (starting at 0), and the quantity of noodles (regular is a good helping), and you get...a slice of pork belly, a soft boiled egg and some spring onions as standard. Flavour is really excellent, as is value for money at around 750 yen. Beer 470.More

We just had our dinner here and it was great. Very small place and you can only sit at the bar. They have an English menu and you can choose your Mazeman whatever you like. They prepare the food on the other side of the...bar and the kitchen (very small :)) is open. Food is very good! Their dumplings are tasty as well. Their staff had great fun to prepare the food which is fun to see. Recommended!More
