Great alcoholic drinks: the strong ones made on berries and the light ones on honey (medovukha), you won't find that in shops. Medovukha is really one of the best I've tried. Also good fish and foul dishes. National pastry is delicious (Kalitka), also I loved the desert (tolokno with berries). The service is good, but is not always perfect: people... More

First of all, it would be better if you book a table in advance, in case you want to get a good one. The food is tasty, I loved fish and "kalitka" - special Karelian cakes. Their fruity liquors are also worth trying. Unfortunately, the waitress was not really friendly. No, she wasn't rude, she was polite, but I almost... More

Disappointing experience and disappointing that it did not live up to the reviews. Firstly the menu is very expensive compared to the rest of Petrozavodsk. I think the restaurant is in 2 sections too and I was in the pokey end. I found it rather kitschy too like another reviewer and I was surprised at this. The only drinks on... More

Finnish Karelian cooking. The menu offers a traditional taste of the food of Region. Be open to trying different things and you will be pleasantly surprised. We had a group of 5 and cold plate from grandmas kitchen feathering cold moose, venison, beef, red and white caviar, two differ salads, white and red salted fish and vodka. We ordered a... More

If you want to taste a local food in a cozy homelike atmosphere it's ideal place for you! It is a bit pricey in comparison with other places nearby, but worth to visit. We really enjoyed a set of strong drinks made of alcohol and local herbs, and of course all meals too including whitefish, beef and salmon. Highly recommend.

We wanted to taste some specialities of Karelia and found them in this beautiful place. We had a set of 3 types of caviar as a starter. Excellent, but ask waiter for extra-bread there is only 3 small pieces and a lot of caviar that is included by default. Deer meat was good, maybe a bit pricy.

We were excited about this restaurant but ended up with a little disappointment that bear meat selection wasn't available on that day. Ambience was quite nice and the food isn't that great. Cranberry Kavs is awesome and out of the world, whereas the moose meat has lots of earthy flavor.

Really cool little restaurant with a unique chance to try traditional Karelian food. They serve bear and reindeer meat. Tried both as well as a baked salmon dish. Restaurant was very nice, waitstaff wasn't the friendliest but it was ok, and the music was repeating over and over which was annoying, but overall good and definitely recommend to try true... More
