Loved this place. Centrally located, not far from train station and main thoroughfare... close to Metro. Prices on the high side but well worth it! At least one English-speaking waitstaff. Delicious dishes presented beautifully and uniquely; service fantastic; atmosphere lovely;

We went for the 'Back to USSR' set menu at about 1900 roubles. An upmarket, modern take on Russian classics (beetroot anyone?). Food was really tasty, service excellent. Wine list reasonably extensive, if somewhat pricey. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying locally (100m...More

Some friends of ours had told us about this place and its strange that we had never heard about it before, as we had such a great experience compared to the normal Moscow standards. We were immediately seated on arrival and given menus by a...More

Went here for a dinner. The kitchen is obviously quite inventive, delving into what I guess is called the molecular gastronomy. I had gazpacho and shared the caprese as a starter, then the seabass with artichokes and cheesecake. I was very happy with all of...More

This is a restaurant you go to for the food. Period. The atmosphere isn't bad, but it's a bit on the gloomy side. The service is fine, but the food is absolutely out of this world. The chef knows what he's doing, is very creative,...More

Husband and I stopped in here for a drink and dessert since it was so close to our hotel (Sheraton Palace). We liked the atmosphere and really enjoyed chatting with the bartender. She recommended the Yo-Apple Martini, which was a delicious concoction including apples, caramel,...More

I visited Yornik having seen some rave reviews. It was near our hotel (Marriott Tverskaya) and so very convenient. The outdoor seating was pleasant, setting a nice ambience. I had fish and my wife had a squid ink risotto, which was quite tasteless and upset...More

I have stayed in Moscow Sheraton Palace for two weeks in December, and the outside temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius forced me to dine in the closest possible proximity to the hotel. So, I have had dinner at Yornik restaurant 4 times (it's about...More

The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by
Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights
Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers
along with the White House - where the Russian
government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and
casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo,
National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of
fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral
