My friend and I arrived to this spot on a Sunday evening and were seated outside in the terrace...very comfortable seating, couches, under a gazebo of sorts as we did not enter the main dining room. At first, it did not appear to be busy...More

Recommend restaurant by our local colleagues for a typical Russian restaurant. Menu offerings quite varied, please ask for a menu in English if needed (rather than Russian). Very attentive service, with food rather good. As much as the food offerings were regional, the wine selections...More

On a cold wet April evening this restaurant could very easily be missed but that would be a mistake. Inside was beautiful and we were warmly greeted with the cloakroom attendant popping out from behind a curtain. Look out for the large parrot downstairs. We...More

Very traditional Russian restaurant. Nicely presented Russian food in very worm friendly atmosphere. Attractive national interior. Expensive, but worth of it. You can feel very much in touch with the different country together with all pleasant specific cultural differences in the food habits.

Restaurant with the Russian food with average quality, but unfortunately the whole atmosphere including waitresses and customers "tells" you to visit another location, "we are fine without anyone around". Despite my negative experience, pickles were tasty.

Really excellent evening in appropriately calm business friendly atmosphere. Good range of Russian dishes including Russian biltong(yup!) and suckling pig. Quite expensive but recommended.

This a traditional Russian restaurant, serving very good traditional Russian cuisine (part of the menu is based on very old recipes). The interior resembles a house with authentic touches, feeling welcoming and calm. The service is quite formal but very professional and efficient. English menus...More

It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street
the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one
direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in
Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian
restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life
with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like
visiting during the times when it was a medieval
Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th
