I have had occasion to stay at the Shangri-La Mactan many times over a period of 7 years and the Tides is one of the best restaurants at a resort that I have had the occasion to dine at. The food is well prepared and always hot. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. I would highly recommend anyone staying... More

Went here for the breakfast buffet and was not disappointed. Definitely one of the best restaurants.

I stayed at a nearby resort but ended up spending most of my time at the Shangri-La. Ate at Tides 3 times. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner over two days. Well, that should say it all. Great food, great service. (some times a tad slow bringing drinks but they were always crowded). Even if you don't stay there, well worth the... More

It was really good... The service, the place and the food... You could have a lot of choices from Japanese Food, Korean Food and etc... It was spectacular... I'm sure I'll be coming back to this place for more 👍👍👍

With a vast selection of different food from several countries, the buffet breakfast is awesome. This, however, leads to being so popular that during peak times, it is always extremely crowded and there are large queues waiting to be seated and at the buffets. Also, the tables are too close to each other and it gets really noisy with lots... More

The buffet has plenty of options and is a little worn. The standard has slipped e.g: the pasteries were unbelievable in the past, now they are ordinary. If you ask the staff for something different, they will go out of their way to accomodate you. I like my vegies of which there is very little of.

had breakfast and dinner here during my stay at the ShangriLa hotel. eclectic selection. wide variety and family friendly. bummers: a foreign guest behind me in the queue was seated ahead of me; and they should taste the mangoes before placing in the buffet; was unripe.

We came here for lunch - although we weren't staying at the resort. Generous portion size, really high quality as you can expect from Shangri-La. We had the burger, a soup and a wrap - all great. Cebu food on the whole is not cheap, but this was above average in price - closer to what you'd pay in a... More

We had buffet breakfast here for 4 straight days, then a couple of lunch and dinner and let me start with the variety of food, there's just way too many. Japanese, Mediterranean, Filipino, Korean, Chinese, Indian, American and they're all so good! My favorite is the corned beef #SimplePeroRock, but it doesn't mean I don't like the rest! The PORK... They have a wide variety of dishes, ranging from local Filipino food, to other Asian cuisines to Western or Continental breakfasts. Without a doubt one of the best breakfast buffets I have tried.
