Escape the chaos, enjoy Euro quality food , great service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. This is one of the very few Davao establishments where you get great value for your money.

We were looking for the Spanish restaurant in the vicinity of the old Claude's but found this instead. It was Valentine's Day and had just come from the Davao Museum. We strolled through the Quezon Park past lunchtime and decided to walk the 2 short blocks. We were welcomed by the owner himself and were even introduced to the chef.... More

I have been here twice and the food was always amazing! The staff and crew were friendly and accommodating. If you really want to eat authentic European dishes, especially steak, this is the place to go! 5/5 highly recommended!

I've eaten in this attractive and comfortable European restaurant multiple times over the years, and it never fails to please. In a country where standards--particularly those of restaurants--tend to fluctuate frequently, and often decline over time, De Bonte Koe has consistently maintained its high standards of quality ingredients, thorough preparation and attentive service. This alone makes it one of a... More

Great food and service. Henny is the perfect host. We have visited his restaurant several times over the last seven years on our trips to the Philippines, and it has been consistently good.

We had a very enjoyable lunch today at De Bonte Koe. It is quite rare to get good quality and authentic European food in Davao City, but this Dutch restaurant does not disappoint. The restaurant is quite hidden away at the back of a small compound in the centre of Davao, and has an unusual collection of Dutch and European... More

Location: Call before going, as the tripadvisor map puts it in the other side of town (near Buhangin instead of San Pedro area). The resto is in the back of Habana Compound. Ambiance: Warm, homey Bavarian-ish interiors, dress in smart casual. Friendly owner (Henny) chats up guests and even personally ensures the steaks are cooked perfectly to your liking. Appetizers...
