Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food is ok normal. Limited delivery service. Efficient service (varies). i ate here almost everyday during my trip to Davao. Yummy fried rice at no extra charge to your rice topping order.

Had made the rounds of Mandarin Tea Garden branches and me thinks Anda Street keeps their place cleaner than the other branches. This Chinese resto is almost a fastfood sort, they have preset food items, frozen and they just steam it or boil it. Nothing spectacular but it serves the purpose of putting food in my stomach fast. No crowds, no noisy chatter, just working people getting lunch or dinner. Oh and they are senior citizen friendly.

Regular. Nothing special for me. Service is fast and food is filling. If youre looking for a quick lunch/dinner, mandarin is perfect. Hubby likes their beef brisket rice toppings

We didn’t like the food. Unclean area, including the chairs and under the chairs. We didn’t get what our money’s worth. We will not visit again!

Practically, they serve the same food as served in the other branches. It's not as spacious and comfortable as the other Mandarin branches situated in the malls. A bit dark inside.

Their foods are very tasty and always served hot (burned my tongue once or twice). Their tropical fruit salad and fruit shakes are to die for (they have green mango shake). Although, they might take about 15 to 20 minutes serving time I'd say their food is worth the wait. They also have big servings so you will definitely be satisfied.

If you are ever in Davao and in need of a cheap and fast food fix, this is the place! I have lost count on how many times I've been here to eat (Lunch, dinner or in between). The rice toppings are enough for most people as a complete meal. For those who have that extra stretch or 'pouch' in their stomachs, a variety of dimsum selections is available (quail egg siomai, fried taro cakes, chickens feet, sharks fin dumplings [not real sharks fins though] and etc..). Dessert is a selection of mostly typical Filipino favorites (Halo-halo, etc..). Don't expect to have a gourmet's meal in this place as the taste, texture and proportion are good to average. Also, make sure to have the waiter taking your order to repeat the list, as they have a tendency to list the wrong dishes.

Rice toppings and dumplings are tasty and filling. I always order Soy Chicken and Steamed Shrimp Dumpling. Service is subpar but at least the food is cheap.

Everywhere you go in Davao, Mandarin Tea Garden is there... We had ordered steamed fish and rice, which was beautifully made and a noodle soup with wantons.Loved the food and the pricing is also just right.

Whenever my boyfriend and I can't decide where to eat during our dates, we always end up at Mandarin Tea Garden - not because we don't have any other choice but because we just love eating there. I always order the Steamed fish rice with Buko Shake (personal favorite!) and he orders the Noodles with Siomai. They have branches in malls and the best part is they have a branch just right in front of my office. Definitely a must try for travelers.

Mandarin didnt lost its name despite the new entrants in the dining industry. Their taste is still consistent. For me, they serve the best taosi spareribs and noodles. Also, their tropical fruits salad is luscious. You can find this resto anywhere in Davao City

I really like their competitor resto best. They do not practice sanitation. The food is just the same as the competitor's, it's good. I just don't like the place, seems dirty for me
