No fail. Always the best and freshest japanse fair. They have the best tasting tempura. I love eating at the bar. No other place like Nihonbashitei.

We always love going to this Japanese restaurant. It is comfort food for us. It has fresh ingredients and offers a wide array of Japanese food that one desires. They have sushi, sashimi, cold and hot sobas, ramen, and their mains- beef, chicken, pork and sea food. Their unagi is priced at Php600 but it is a huge serving. We... More

Small, slightly grungy but very reasonably priced. We always order buttered clams and spicy salmon maki. The tempura is better at the Malate branch.

This place never changes. Well except for their newly renovated facade their topnotch food quality, serving size and price is still one of the best. If there's something they need to improve on is the service of the waiters. We opted to take the tables in the smoking area and the service takes time when you ask for water. Our... More

It was closed when I visited but I'm so happy Ohsama Ramen (next door) has the exact food offerings as Nihonbashitei. My go to is always the Spicy Salmon Maki. Always. Another of my favorites are the lunch menus since it offers more food for the same price. Uni don and that assorted medley of sashimi on rice. I've tried... More

I've eaten at both Nihonbashi locations, the one beside Slimmer's World and the one near Amorsolo. The first one's facilities are a bit old and needs some updating. The 2nd one is much more pleasant. However both areas have limited parking space so better be early when you eat there. I've tried the yakiniku and a host of other dishes... More

Judging from the number of Japanese expats rubbing elbows at the sushi bar and animatedly holding their conversations, this restaurant is the real deal.Everything they serve is fresh and perfectly seasoned. The waitresses are polite and efficient. And the price tab at the end and f the meal is pleasantly unbelievable.Dining here would not cost an arm and a leg.If only... More

Still the best Japanese restaurant in the metro. My sister visited the country and asked where to eat dinner. On top of my head was this restaurant and they enjoyed it. Her Swedish partner enjoyed the food too. Lots of umami!

It's our favorite go to place for good no frills japanese food. Consistent with their food quality, and generous for sharing portions. They can accomodate groups in function rooms, without minimum charges. It is worth noting though that the place needs a renovation already.

There are two nihonbashiteis now, the one nearer edsa and beside slimmers world is the former Yakiniku senri. The highlight of this one would be the meats. My personal preference is the karubi cut, I think it is the best value for money. Unfortunately, I don't think one order per person of meat is enough, so that makes the spend... More
