The place was nice, with sports on tv. The staff was friendly. We ordered a Chicken curry and a Double burger with french fries, and it was ok. They gave us 2 tequila margaritas for free.

I used to go to this bar years ago when it actually was a British Pub. Sadly today it is not. They don't even serve Guiness. The place is now owned as part of a chain of so called British bars, offering watered down versions of Fish n Chips and curries, which don't quite come up to standard. However the actual... More

I am not sure where to start. And I am not sure if I should write this. This is my first review on Tripadvisor...last night was so bad I have pondered all night - during the bouts of serious indegestion - whether I should review or not. I've been to the bar many times before, but not recently. Almost certainly... More

You'll get a good bar - less Irish than you might expect - and you will have a good time in the mixed foreign/local environment. But the bar used to be better with more types of drinks/beers and the waitresses are not as sweet as they used to be. Still a good bar though.

It was like I went back to Ireland when we entered the place. The food portion was "Filipino" size, quality not-so-good. The acoustic singer and the guitarist was good, but what annoys me was when the waitress said they don't have Guinness. Really, Irish pub with no Guinness?

After being in Malaysia for 7 weeks we fancied some western food and Murphys had what looked like an extensive and interesting menu...baked potatoes....stews...burgers...nachos etc and at reasonable prices. We had 2 baked potatoes which were average the filling was a big on the light side. We also had the chili and lamb stew the child was very bland and... More

Too expensive for food quality and quantity. Very poor customer service(waiting time for almost 45 minutes, waitress even argued with us when she served the wrong side dish).

This is a really good place for locals, expats and tourists. The decor is authentic and the food and beer are good. The western dishes are simple but very tasty and the servings are generous. We have never had a bad meal here. Early in the week it can be a little quiet and Friday evening is quite busy.

Me and my friends went to Murphy's to have dinner and have some wine perhaps. Apparently, because we are a group of ladies, i'm not sure why the service is really bad and there's just a few people. Well, if you are a guy group and maybe looking for some drinks, some sports or football to watch and even have... More
