It's the former HARDROCK CAFE MAKATI. Sometimes good bands, food is ok, price wise a bit on the higher end considering what you get. But still worth a visit.

Great place to be if you are in the mood to jive to some live music, and want to have a good time, not to mention chilled beer and good food to go with. Johnny B Good in Macati is located in a joint which...was earlier being run as Hard Rock Cafe’, and follows a very similar style of food and entertainment. The food is great- we had ordered Pork ribs, Calamari, chicken nuggets and fish fingers- the food was quite delicious, and with some great local beers (I quite liked the San Miguel Pale) and whiskies to go with, it’s a great place to hang out. In addition, you have the pool and snooker area, a separate bar section and live music to sing along, scream or dance. The only problem I had was that the music is too loud to have any conversation, or even to enjoy it for a kingfish time- I finally left after an hour with a headache, and a ringing in my ears. The service from the staff is quite quick and prompt, and they are ready with a smile. All in all, a fine place to catch up with friends.More
Great place to enjoy a night out dinner music night. Good food and rocking music entertainment escape you from your daily hustle.
My first time staying in Manila. I went at Johnny B Good expecting that it still the Hard Rock but this place is more than awesome. First, the girls at door gave us very hospitable smiles. Staff are so nice. We were seated at the...bar. They really have a good band a good singers. They have a comedy band when the time we visited. It really makes me feel good. They have very talented singers. They played really really good. We didn't order food that night. I met this young looking bartender Geraldin. Her smile is very welcoming. She really took care of us. She really has a good communication skills. I can see the purest heart and passion in her job. Good job for the long island iced tea. However the guy who was with her that night wasn't even gave us a smile, looks like confused all the time. Maybe he is a new staff. But my overall rating is Awesome! I will definitely go back here soon. And will probably recommend this.More
Was at Johnny B. Good to watch Side A perform, had the fish and chips, which was the best I have had in the Philippines. Fish & Chips And 4 san mig lights and an evening of Side A Songs = 1000php which is great...value. Good fast, efficient service and freshly prepared tasty food. I recommend this venue!More
Really good food, good service, huge restaurant and the bar. No door charge for live bands every night is awesome. There are 2 billiard tables in the bar area play all you want. Cocktails are 2 thumbs up yeah. Highly recommend this awesome place.will visit...again soonMore
This place was so quiet during lunch. I went here with a work colleague, and ordered the typical western lunch dishes. Service was quite good, and we got our orders very fast. Food tasted pretty good. It is a very large restaurant - it was...the previous Hard Rock Cafe.More
On a positive staff, the employee who welcomed me to the restaurant and the one who took my order were both bright and bubbly, and good at that part of their job. I asked for the striploin steak - out of stock. They suggested the...prime, which I agreed to - served with seasonal vegetables and mash. The steak was reasonably tough, with a thick strip of gristle down one side. The vegetables were undercooked (very crunchy). I had to ask for water, it was not offered. No one came near me after my meal was served to check if it was OK. The whole experience was 'just ok'. 2,000 peso for my meal and a glass of wine. I won't be back.More
Been coming for years when it was the former Hard Rock Cafe. The walls have lost all their guitars and music memorabilia which lets the place down and makes it less interesting for tourists. Food especially the burgers are still great and drinks reasonably priced....Missed Arpie and The Multivitamins on Wed as closed for a private function. Manila needs a good jazz venue or somewhere to hear say Oasis covers and later stuff that a younger audience can relate to. A pleasant evening.More
Went to dinner here with my family on New Year's eve. For a resto bar, the atmosphere was a bit sullen (maybe because it was a holiday). The band was very good and music was to my liking. The servers were really nice and very...pleasant. Food just came at the right time. The best thing I really liked here was the steak. Had a very good dinner because the steak was delicious.More
The band playing on saturday night was really good, unfortunately for a couple(real couple) I felt very uncomfortable as a girl, as a wife. Most of the crowd are foreigners with "local side girls" (they even mentioned the club they are from once). I had...to bill out the moment they started dancing on the dance floor, too bad for us we really enjoyed the band. I asked one waitress if that was the usual crowd and she answered "Yes". The price point for the beers and cocktails was okay too. Food was good, generous serving. It could have been the Holy Grail resto bar we have been looking for, but no, will never visit again.More
The food was cold and not fresh to the taste. The waitress was nice but must have been new because the dinning room was empty and service was slow. The classic California burger was flavorless and nothing more than a basic burger with a tiny...slice of avocado and a few French fries on the side. The ribs were a nice rack size but flavorless and not worth the 1,000 pesos.More
enjoyed a meal last night. Burger nd fries were ok. Band was very good although the acoustics are not great. The sound is a bit tinny.which takes away from the bands ability. Worth checking ou
Normally the bands are nice, some band are really very nice and professional, English music, classic rock. Jonny b Good is big and comfortable for the costumer, draft beer, local and international drink. The food are standard American food. For Saturday night totally recommendable.
We have been coming to this location for 15 years , when it was Hardrock and now its JBG . Food is reliable and well cooked, Drinks are reasonable for a venue like this . Always good bands most nights . A couple of good...pool tables in the bar area. If we need to entertain a group of friends this is our first choice !More
