Sited on the top floor of the conference building at Hotel Morobe, this large air conditioned restaurant has an outdoor seating area with great views over the port.
The menu is extensive, the service excellent and the food reasonably priced and very good. I ate here 4 of the 6 nights I had in Lae. Highly recommended.

The restaurant serves delicious and mouth watering Chinese food. It has lovely staffs and also has 2 private rooms. Parking is readily available and the restaurant is located minutes from the City Centre.

Lae doesn't have a large number of restaurants and most seem attached to hotels. This is one of them, a Cantonese restaurant attached to the Hotel Morobe. In theory the restaurant is inside on the top story of the building next to the hotel but I chose it sit outside on the balcony (probably actually part of the colocated Cafe 411).
There is no real indication of any specialities and no specials so you just get to chose from a fairly typical long list of (international) cantonese stables.They didn't have any spring rolls, and the wonton soup was very mediocre, but the main courses I chose were satisfactory.

Great place to eat and definitely the Best Asian food in town. Great views. Staff are very attentive. Excellent views of the industrial part of town below. The place is quite new. A great setup. Worth a visit when in Lae.

This is a fairly new restaurant here in Lae. The Asian food is served fresh and is very tasty. The staff are well trained and reasonably attentive, but if it's busy expect to wait for drinks and food. The restaurant is attached to a Cafe style outdoor area where they sell drinks and desserts. It would be good if they had a selection of the desserts inside the restaurant but they don't. You have to go out to the cafe to choose dessert if you want one. Overall it's a good restaurant and the food is excellent quality. Well worth a visit if your in Lae.
