Me and my girl come here a lot. It's the best pizzas in Namibia. Truth. With a slight elevation advantage you get to look over towards the sea, while the old lighthouse looms behind you. There is a super friendly manager guy walking around the whole time cracking jokes. He is a funny guy. The menu has a range of... More

Yes, it's very cool to eat in a lighthouse. The location is special; unfortunately, the food is not. Went for dinner and both my partner and I were unimpressed with the meal. Poorly prepared fish with bland sauce. Chewy steak. A server that was attentive for the first half of the evening, but disappeared for the second half. If you... More

Went here for lunch. A combination of pizza, pasta and King clip was ordered between us and there were no disappointments. Good service. Food could have been slightly quicker but not a big issue.

Maybe the expectation were to big. We've ordered pizzas (lunch), which were well prepared, must say some of the best around. Service were fine. Busy at time, and could assist within timeframe.

Visit the place based on bradt guidebook recommendation and what a disappointment . It started with a 10 minute wait outside ,waiting to be seated even though the restaurant was half empty. Inside the service kept being slow , long wait for waiter to take our order , long wait for drinks , long wait for food ... We hoped... More

We had dinner here on our first night in Swakopmund, recommended by our B&B host. The setting is interesting, but unfortunately they didn't have a table for us in the main restaurant, so we were in the tent out the back. The oryx steak was amazing - perfectly, perfectly cooked, succulent and just very yummy. The accompanying veges were pretty... More

After reading decent reviews of this restaurant in the Bradt guide we decided to go for dinner and found the food to be rather bland, and overpriced. The linefish and prawn had very little flavouring and when asked if they had tartare sauce the answer was no. To be honest it tasted like something an inexperienced chef could have cooked... More

I enjoyed the meal greatly, lunching in the warmness of the Namib sun. I had a plougman's platter which was greatly enjoyable. The lighthouse is a good setting.

I can really recommend this spot for the best pizza (the 22 Degrees South Pizza is a total knockout!) in town. The seafood spaghetti is top notch and the service warm & friendly. It is lovely to sit outside when the weather permits. This restaurant is without any fuss and is child, dog and guinea fowl friendly! They sport a... More

The service is shocking. It took ages for anything to be brought. The food was dreadful. I had tasteless fish served with a few pieces of steamed veggies with absolutely no seasoning, herbs or butter. Yuk! The rest of my families' food was also tasteless and bland. It took us over 2 hours to have lunch! Drinks were served warm because... More
