The soup turned out to be less flavourful than expected. They were much better those days when operating from a stall, along the same road.

So this place is famed for their soup, especially Kambing (mutton). Tried it, like it. Other dishes as well, overall, enjoyable and cheap. The place is nothing to look at inside and outside, but hey, go for the food. It's not a tourist place, nor is it the cleanest. Communication is spotty, English is not fully understood. But that's ok,... More

We found this place by chance - it was within walking distance from our hotel. It looks scruffy outside but don' be put off. The best food in there was their Kambing Soup (mutton soup). Best I've ever had (comparing it with those in Singapore and other parts of Malaysia). If you turn up after 5pm, you find little packets... More

Went around 6pm. Seated on the road side. Good feeling with comfort food. Sup perut is must try. See people character while slurping your soup. Another food legend here. Still standing strong.

It was located near my Hotel Malaysia, just a walking distance. The good part is it was open till late night. Food is really good and reasonable. I like their chicken with canai (roti).

I've waited until the end of my holiday to review this so that I can say, without any doubt, that this was the best chicken I ate on my trip. Possibly more famous for the eponymous s(o)up but well worth ordering the instant noodles with chicken for tasty, chunky meat with delicious crispy skin. Open all hours, which (after arriving... After a late night this place was a welcome stop. I had the mutton soup, which was decent but not the finest example of the dish. A plate of nasi goreng was also quite good, the perfect soak for too many drinks. Scruffy looking but cheap and I suffered no ill effects after dining

Best Oxtail soup in Penang. Perfect for that recovery day and prices are ridiculously cheap. Always visit when in Penang for Soup Eko, mi goreng and an iced lemon tea. Great Street food.
