THE OFFCE crowd does come for lunch on weekdays as prices to them are still reasonable.Food sold is similar to food courts everywhere in Penang. However the crowd from cruise ships and other foreigners visiting out of guide books is missing. As a result stalls close early and by 5pm 30% of the stalls remain. Anyway the owners arelly want to... More

We went there for lunch on Sunday. We were so glad to see many local food stalls there. It was very convenient to tourists like us, as we could try everything at one time. Food was not expensive too.

Had the ice kacang with ice cream & char kuey teow here. Not the best in their respective area, but like the place as its spacious, cooling and many varieties under one roof, with its own parking

The variety is great if you wanna try different types of hawker food. But none of them are the best in their area of expertise. Avoid the char koay teow stall, as the lady is very rude and slow. I love the curry mee, lorbak (ngo heong for Singaporeans), nyonya desserts and kueh.

If you want the best Penang Hawker foods this is not the place. The popular Penang favourites were about average and below Penang's best. You have to ask the locals where the best hawkers foods are and each favourite may be found in different locations. The place is ok as hawkers centres go but can do with a facelift. Still... More

When I was growing up in Penang, most of the vendors at New World Park Food Court were Nyonya street vendors who sold their food around Nagore Road and its surrounding area. The ice kachang vendor, now operated by third generation of the family, still taste as good as it was 30 years ago! Definite must. The char kuey teow... More

This was a nice food court. There are plenty of foods here. Char Kway Teow was a blast. This place is airy and clean. The food here is reasonable price. It's good for grabbing something fast and delicious to eat.

This is a more modern of the outside food courts in Penang and offers a wide range of local dishes Char Kaoy Teow (very good), Char Har Fun, Duck Rice, Pan Mee, Roti etc etc. Ideal for lunch and dinner a good way to experience good value local food.

At times, it's a challenge trying to figure out where you can get the best of Penang's Hawker Fare in one location. I believe New World Park Food Court comes close. The Wan Tan Noodles we had was good, with rightly springy noodles. The other was the Indian Fried Noodles - well made with the uniquely Penang style of using... More
