Been here numerous times during dozens of Penang trips. Easy to.order some great food; I normally will eat here only for breakfast or brunch and maybe late at night if I need a snack. Cheap and very popular with visitors to Penang; especially the long term staters. We just had breakfast for two and it cale to less than 10... More

Despite being located on a highly transited road, the atmosphere is simple and relaxed, with a lot of space inside. Food choice is quite good also for vegetarians,

This is a casual Indian restaurant. The tandoori is available for dinner, but do not limit yourself. They have some great cafeteria style food available all day. If you are unfamiliar with Indian food, just point to what looks good. I've been back many times and have never been disappointed.

Pleasant cafetaria. I sometimes come here for breakfast on weekends & normally order paper thosei and choose curry fish to go with it. Taste is good. Lovely teh tarik. Service is above average and pleasant. Environment is brightly-lit, and feels clean and safe. By local standards the food bill is averagely priced. Overall - a pleasant and happy place to... More

Always good for a Roti or curry. Not my favorite but it's still good. Roti Cani is my favorite. Or try some curry. Open 24/7 so ideal place to visit after the pubs close.

I gave up waiting for my food for so long I had to leave and get served quicker down the road at another restaurant. I think the management has gone wrong here because I had been going here for several years before and it was fine then. Food is ok if you are prepared to wait so long.

I visited Jaya every week for the tandori naan dish but they took it of the menu. Tried other dishes but they are just very fatty and nothing special. For those want to eat cheap..... go and fill your stomach here. With the tandori naan off the menu, I stopped going there.

We have been in peneng 4 days and have eaten here 3 times already. Prices are awesome and the food is beautiful and authentic, lovely curries and roti. Genuine iced lemon tea, not out of can. You have to try the roti boom for dessert!

Been eating here for nearly 2 weeks Great, authentic food at very low prices Want a delicious, nutritious, filling, safe lunch for less than $1? Try the massala thosai. Find it in the menu, tell the waiter, enjoy and then pay at the counter. It will cost you 2.80 ringitt Best not to pay the waiter. They sometimes see to... More
