We loved their choice of cocktails, food was good and prices were really good to. Definitely a good choice for a dinner and a few drinks after a long driving day in Madagascar.

we stayed in Morondova beach for a couple of weeks and this was one of our least favorite restaurants..food was bland and the service poor. They do not have printed menus and you have to choose your food from a massive board which we felt very odd but it was funny at the same time!!

We stayed here (THIS IS NOT JUST A RESTAURANT - IT IS A HOTEL!) before and after going North to the Tsingi areas and South to Belo sur Mer, three nights in all. Each time we found the staff very helpful, room clean and all that could be expected from a mid-range hotel. Nothing startling about the extensive menu but... More

The view is of the river and its beautiful with the local boats going by. The food is however not of the best standards but its edible.

We had a nice evening at Baobab Café, the terrace and surrounding are amazing, but the food was rather average - particularly if judged by the relatively high prices in comparison to other places in Nosy Kely / Morondava. Staff are very nice, helpful and attentive.

Overall it's a nice hotel situated on the back of a river outside of the city center. Quite and peaceful surroundings. The food is good and the restaurant area is located near the water front with great views. The service was OK but somewhat slow. The room we got was very small and had a dump smell in it. It... This hotel is average. Rooms are very dark, beds are tolerable but not perfect. The swimming pool is ok. Wi fi very intermittent. The only saving grace is that it is next to a nice mangrove-lined canal and you can see miscellaneous small boats going by. Dinner was nothing special and it took a long time to get it, perhaps... The food is good. Sitting by the water be prepared for the mosquito bites. Menu is in french and waiters speak french. But you can ask for other staff to help with the order. Price a bit higher than surrounding restaurants. Worth to try.

The seafood here was outstanding. It was my first Langoustine in Madagascar so was a bit special and probably added to the flavour and experience. It was 800grs and cooked perfectly. Tasted amazing! My partner had the large prawns. We also had a lovely bottle of South African white wine. One of the waiters was a little bit rude but... More
