So many of the appetisers on the menu appealed to us that our server advised we'd not be able to eat mains too. So we ended up with a big range of dishes at a very reasonable price. All without exception were very good and generous sized portions. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the environment very pleasant either inside the very attractive old building or, where we sat, on the balcony overlooking one of Hoi An's nicest streets

After eating in the busier restaurants of Hoi An for the previous two nights, we stumbled upon this place by accident.
It’s in a quieter area of the old town, but 30 secs walk (to the left) of Le Loi street so incredibly central.
White table cloths, nice table and glass ware and lovely staff.
A more selective menu than other places - but no less tasty or authentic.
It was the quiet atmosphere that we needed after 3 days in the busy old town.
The owner is a Vietnamese Master Chef winner and it shows in the quality and presentation of the food. And all in we paid around £5 more per person than eating in Mornng Glory - with its cacophony and noisy atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed MG, but I wish we’d found Little Faifo earlier.

We had a family celebration dinner in this lovely fine dining restaurant and it was very enjoyable. Sat downstairs by the door in a beautiful surrounding (most customers upstairs so it was peaceful) and enjoyed very good and caring service. Food was tasty, nicely set, excellent in flavor. Coctails were excellent! White wine was cold! And the bill after all this fantastic dinner was very, very reasonable. If you value good food and stay a little longer in Hoi An you have to visit at least once in this lovely restaurant (we visited twice after we first foun it). Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant, great service, enjoyable wines but a number of poor food aspects.
We ordered the combo and the chicken and sea food was enjoyable but the pork and beef kebabs were simply inedible. Super tough and stringy is my only description.
My complaint was handled quickly with courtesy and great professionalism we were offered alternative options but we declined. The charge for the whole dish was then removed from the bill.
Most tables around us seemed to be very satisfied so maybe we were unlucky with the kitchen having an off day. It happens!

Little Faifo is part of the Little Hotel group and guests of the group get 20% off the food bill, which makes this great value restaurant even better value.
Set a street back from the hustle and bustle of the river street in Ancient Town, Little Faifo still has the beautiful old world charm of Ancient Town but is a little quiet haven, with beautiful views of the lantern lined streets from the upstairs, especially from the balcony seats.
The staff are quietly efficient and polite and the service standard is of any 5 star restaurant. The food is amazing, so fresh and tasty and a decent selection.
Wine like anywhere else in Vietnam isn’t cheap but beers and cocktails are.
Will definitely be back next time we are in Hoi An

My wife & I dined in the upstairs dining room for dinner. It is nicely decorated and the tables are well spaced. The service was attentive & friendly. The menu is fairly extensive, with a good variety of Vietnamese dishes (and a few western thrown in). We had minced beef wantons, fresh shrimp spring rolls, steamed fish in banana leaf & coconut chicken - all tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere was cozy (at least until the end when a couple of tour groups showed up). Bottom line - a very enjoyable meal in a very nice setting!

Delightful restaurant in Old Town, tastefully fitted out.
But the highlight of the evening was thee food. We ordered 4 dishes including the customary spring roll, each dish got better and better. Highly recommended. The area around it is so pretty feels like Lala Land, and with a fairy tale river around the block also having smart looking restaurants, bars, small battery powered dingees ferry you, together with an evening temp of 23 C, what more could want !!! All the best guys.

Little Faifo is an amazing restaurant in an amazing location. It is located right in the middle of the old town which is easy to get to. I ordered a chicken and ginger dish which was delicious and full of flavour. The staff were chatty and friendly and the balcony view looks right onto the lantern-lit street. It is normally a busy restaurant so I recommend booking and if you want to be on the balcony most definitely book a table ( maximum of two people ). We all enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again. Thanks a lot !

We were in Vietnam in January 2020, before Covid disrupted everything. When we asked the staff at our hotel about where to eat in Hoi An, they had no hesitation in recommending the Little Faifo Restaurant along with two others. It was a bit hidden but it has a very nice atmosphere and very attentive staff. As in so many other places in Vietnam, the staff were fluent speakers of English. The food was first class, and our only regret was that we first visited the place the night before we had to leave Hoi An. Otherwise, we would have gone there every night. We can strongly recommend the Little Faifo.

We dined at the Little Faifo for the first time tonight.
We were welcomed by the charming staff, Van and Misa Nguyen.
Luckily we were there before 5.30 PM, so took advantage of Happy Hour, when ALL drinks are priced at 50 % discount (2 for 1 !).
The food we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the calamari salad and sea bass salad.
The restaurant is very well presented and has one of the better appearances of restaurant in Hoi An ancient town.
We very much enjoyed dining here and look forward to returning to Little Faifo soon.
Highly recommended !

We was visited faifo restaurant in the evening,althought thể street is quite empty,but this restaurant is outstanding and curved with 20% discount.
We ordered pancake and pomelo salad for aperitif ,main course with combo grill and steamed fish it was really impressive ,oh great.The staff very attentive and friendly.

We had a lovely meal here just before the Tet holiday. We enjoyed the crispy spring rolls and the duck breast. My husband wanted the ribs after reading the reviews however the portion only has two ribs which seemed a bit of a sad portion. He ordered the beef curry but was a little disappointed with the flavour. It was a nice meal but I don’t think we will return.

Likely the fanciest meal we went out for on our vacation to Vietnam and was definitely a treat. We splurged a bit with multiple orders and drinks and still left with a tab under $40 USD. Spendy compared to local cuisine (very affordable compared to home) prices but we knew it was a fancier place with stellar reviews and the service matched the great reviews. We had a number of servers constantly at the ready so not a moment passed if you needed anything. One of our servers was Annie and she was very pleasant and attentive. We went back once more on our trip and if we were still in town would surely go again.

Beautiful exterior with lanterns. The interior is beautiful but look more like a museum than working Restaurant. There was no one seated downstairs.
We were taken up to the first floor with wooden flooring and a wooden table. there is another much nicer seating area which was closed, although all set up for dining- a shame it wasn’t being used as a much nicer ambience to where we had been put.
The waitering was very haphazard and we found Ryan who spoke English rather rude.
The food was below Mediocre.
The Red flags of having so many cuisines should have indicated it.There was a western and Indian food selection which is not what I would have expected in a Vietnamese restaurant.
The food literally came out 10mins after ordering which made us think perhaps it was all pre-prepared.
The crispy deep fried wonton was average.
Sautéed calamari dish which was presented with a crispy Vietnamese cracker was overcooked robbery, and the Vietnamese cracker was soggy due to the items in it.
The stir fried duck with lemon grass and ginger was again overdone.
The service unfortunately was non attentive, although the food came very fast and we found Ryan the wait extremely rude as when we asked him about an issue he just refused to answer.

A classy restaraunt in one of the most beautiful houses in Hoi An, so good we went back for a second evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and ambient. On the first night we were lucky enough to sit on the terrace, a real treat,but you need to book well in advance. The food is very good value for money, tasty and well presented. If you are staying at one of the Little Hoi An hotels then you are entitled to a discount which makes it superb value for money. My favourite restaraunt in Vietnam.
