Yesterday we decided to try this place for a third time. Previous ones were just O.K. at best and we thought that it was just a fluke. Not so ! The General Tao was floating in a dark sauce covered with big pieces of mostly...raw onions and the peanut dumplings were served as if they had opened a jar of PB and just spread a thick layer on the dumplings. It sat there with the consistency of gelatin. We did not finish any of it. The crispy noodles (way too much liquid) were fine as were the egg rolls although cold. For $50 bucks we could have had much better fast food. Anyway, you live and learn but we really do not recommend the food...More

This was a repeat visit to enjoy a Birthday dinner with friends & Phi impressed them with her friendly service and good food. As the Covid virus has affected the numbers visiting Hoi an Phi has scaled her vast menu to ensure that everything she...serves is fresh. There were many choices but one winner was the roast duck in Orange sauce.More

We were recommended to Bao Han and were not disappointed. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. Dishes were explained by Phi to help us make the right choice and try some authentic Vietnamese food, all turned out to be delicious. The restaurant also...has a nice, relaxed vibe, you will enjoy your evening at Bao Han.More

We were in hoi an in February /March. And visited Bao Han on several occasions. The food was excellent, and all of the staff were friendly, and very helpful. Phi the owner treated everyone like family members. She operates a no like no pay policy,...but I never saw anyone not pay. When you order a meal your rice is free, and free fruit or coconut icecream afterwards.. If you visit Cua Dai a visit to Phi has to be on the agendaMore

We have visited Phi’s many times in the years we have been to Hoi An. She is one of the loveliest people you could meet. Whatever you want she will supply. If it’s not on the menu just ask and it will be done. Her...English is very good and her staff are great. We have watched them grow over the years. If you get the chance to eat at Bao Han please do you won’t be disappointed. Any dietary needs can be talked about with Phi and she tries to accommodate. Phi has a mantra - if you don’t like it you don’t payMore

When I was in Hoi An recently I discovered a fantastic authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food was stunning ! The staff were friendly and entertaining which added to the dining experience . Visited 4 times as other restaurants were disappointing by comparison .

Bao Han is my favourite restaurant in Hoi An. We have been travelling to Vietnam for over 20 years and Bao Han is the best. Phi the owner and her wonderful staff make you feel welcome just like family. Her crab dish is amazing !!...As is her home made spring rolls and prawn salad. Very generous drinks and complementary desserts are a highlight. Bao Han also generously support the People Helpjng People charity.More

Type Nhà Hàng Bảo Hân in google maps, and pick the one in Quang Nam province. It's about 7km from your hotel, near Cua Dai beach. You can rent bicycles near the resort.
