Our Vietnamese friend took us here. I had seen the place in Hoi An a few years before but only saw a few tables near the kitchen area. What I didn't realise is that you turn left by the outside kitchen into a HUGE area for eating, bit like a hawker centre in Singapore. It is under cover so would... More

We were on a tour with 15 people in our party. Our leader booked us into the place, telling us we were going to eat street food. Glad we had him with us as this place is hidden away down some narrow streets. We passed the cooking area as we walked down the street, then turned left into a big... More

If you like fish then you'll love this set menu as every dish pretty much has prawns in! For me I'm not a fish fan and even after picking the prawns out it still had a strong fish taste! The restaurant setting is very beautiful and the staff come and show you how to make their traditional dishes with the... More

Shall you look to have a real vietnamese local food experience, Bale Well is your perfect destination. Don't expect a fency place, rather few tables open in the street and a local vietnamese on a small stand grilling your meat and frying your sprinng rolls (so part of the experience). You don't even need to order... as they will serve... More

Off the main streets but worth finding, set menu but good variety, good service and price. We went early in evening so not many patrons but they began arriving around 8pm. Atmosphere good. I'm not sure if you can order differently to the set menu especially if you have dietary requirements

Our tour guide, Ten, ordered for us. I think it's the set menu with meat kebabs, Banh xeo, rice paper etc. The waitress showed us how to wrap the stuff into a rice paper roll. It was so delicious and so much fun trying our hands at rolling it.
