If the Cargo Club has so many positive reviews, it’s because it deserves it. The cuisine is tasty, the products are cooked accurately and the presentation is careful. Pastries are not left out.
Certainly it is more expensive than in most Vietnamese restaurants and therefore the clientele is rather Western, but should we deprive ourselves of the pleasure of being nicely served in a clean establishment because we are in Vietnam? Authenticity does not necessarily come through ease.

We have visited this place twice. One time at the terras on the first floor with beautiful view on the river and one time at the river side. Both excellent spots to sit and enjoy good food and drinks!
Quality of food related to pricing is very good taking into account the location in the heart of the historic centre of Hoi An.
Employees are very friendly and take good care of their customers to make them happy!

When I visited 7 years ago, I didn't eat Vietnamese food, but had Italian food. The mushroom soup was delicious, but it was no longer on the menu, which was a shame.
This time, I shared it with three people, including my wife's friend. Since we didn't make a reservation, we arrived just after 4pm before it got busy, and were shown to a seat on the second floor with a good view. After that, the second floor filled up soon, but everyone said that they had reservations from 6pm. If you want to eat while looking at the night view, you must make a reservation.
When I visited Hoi An before, a relative who lived in Vietnam at the time told me that the White Rose, a specialty of Hoi An, costs 95,000 VND (584 yen), because it is made by the same manufacturer, so it is the same no matter where you eat it, but this time I ordered it. It's like a fresh spring roll. The other specialty fried wonton has a topping that looks like bruschetta. It looks stylish and is delicious. The pumpkin soup is also delicious. All the dishes seem sophisticated. If you like cheap and local food, I recommend street food.
Other dishes included spinach, pork, mushroom dumplings, mixed vegetable dumplings, fried pork spring rolls, three kinds of sorbet, creme brulée, beer, cappuccino, etc., for a total of 1.25 million VND (7,680 yen). In Hawaii or Switzerland, that would be about the size of a dinner for one person.

Excellent service and food. It has Vietnamese and Western food, If you want a good wood fired pizza or a steak, this is the place to go. We chose Vietnamese, and had noodles and a salad. Authentic flavours & fresh ingredients. The service was excellent.Located on the river front, near the bridge it was the perfect spot to watch the world go by. We enjoyed it so much we recommended it to our travelling companions who also enjoyed the food, location and service.

What a great discovery, this restaurant located right at the river port, from where you can see the small boats with their lanterns which transport tourists from one bank to the other. We were able to try five different Vietnamese dishes, each as good as the last. Bravo for the quality of service. and congratulations also for the quality of the dishes served! A delight !! My salad of beef strips with avocado and orange was wonderful and spicy as can be!!
The street is very busy!! It's just a little noisy because in this place, several sounds of music mix but it didn't bother us more than that. If we go back to Hoi An, we will definitely come back to Le Cargo 👍🏼

We were there twice for dinner. The view is wonderful, but it is worth booking in advance if you want to sit on the balcony. The waiters don't speak much English, but you can choose from the menu in English. The food is delicious, nothing special, but we liked it.

The atmosphere is simply delightful! Bright and cheery, the place invites you to relax and enjoy. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Each dish is prepared with care, bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients. I can’t recommend the desserts enough—truly a sweet ending to a wonderful meal!

After looking at the reviews and good experinces at Vys Restaurants we decidet to go there. It claims International cuisine, Burgers, Steaks, Pizza and Vietnamese dishes which tastes nowhere near thee other places. Concept to me is to many variation of cuisine, none of them done well. Sorry but lowest rating for this Chain from me. Servie was good but also a bit lower then there other places.

Awesome spot on the riverside. Super friendly staff and a great menu with reasonable prices considering the location. We went for the westernised menu and it was delicious and not super expensive like other places western menu’s are.

The restaurant is conveniently located and has great views of the river in the evening. It is well presented inside.
The food has a good mix of both local and western food. It is a lot more expensive (almost western prices) for meals, but the food is very good!
Service isn’t as friendly as other places we have been and meals come out sporadically (my husband had finished his meal before mine came out). Would probably still prefer a smaller local restaurant over this place. But it does take card payment.

Had dinner here during our visit to Hoi An. The food was excellent, tasty and well presented. The menu is extensive with a wide range of local, asian and western dishes. Service was efficient and friendly and the location on the riverfront is perfect for viewing the lantern lit boats on the river and crowd watching. Prices seemed reasonable given the location and quality of the food.

Dined with a very large group and the restaurant and staff handled it brilliantly. Food was very tasty and nice serving sizes. Prices very reasonable and you will find that the menu covers almost everyone’s tastes. Highly recommended.

This is a very busy restaurant on the riverside. A wide selection of foods to suit everyone, attentive waiting staff, our waiter called Vi even noticed when my partner dropped his fork, he ran and fetched a clean one despite the fact that the place was heaving. Food was delicious. If you want upstairs seating I'd recommend you book and reserve, less hassle from street sellers!

I had an amazing dinning experience here. The food was just amazing. And also, the service was top-notched too. The staff was very attentive and gave me great recommendations. The vibe was special too with dinning tables placed under beautiful lanterns right next to the pedestrian streets. I am just so in love with Cargo. Will definitely come back here again when I get to visit Hoi An again.

After several days of rice, noodles and cheap food, we stumbled on the Cargo, as we were strolling along the front.
Smartly presented and attentive waiters, outside and inside tables, varied menu. On reflection, it seems pointless to mention reasonable prices, as everything in Vietnam is reasonable.
In this case, we dined out two nights, drinking Black and Red Label whisky, eating sea bass, pizza, and spicy chicken with noodles, and it didn't cost more than 25 quid (approx 30 USD). Add in a colourful river view, balmy temperatures and clean toilets, and you have a very agreeable night out.
Highly recommended.
