Deniz, located in the center of city on the water, offers a typical Turkish seafood cuisine (this is not at all a complaint). The preference is to sit outside (despite a high percentage of smokers). Mezze, salad, fried calamari and fresh sea food, combined with Raki, wine or beer. The sea bass and Rd mullet were excellent. Anyone who has... More

One of the most famous fish restaurant in Izmir. Prices are not cheap, but compared to other restaurants in terms of old-styled/ professional service and quality of food, it worths. With a group of 10 people, we ate mezes, octopus, calamari and red mullet with minimum 3 doubles of qualified raki per person. It was 140 TL/person. It is a... More

This is a very good seafood restaurant. We always take our guests there because of the quality of sea food and the high level of service. Staff are very attentive and make great recommendations. Also number of choices are available for vegetarians.

A fantastic meal with friendly and efficient staff, the menu is excellent with fish being the speciality, with a reasonable selection of wines. The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent, I would recommend to pre book especially during the warmer weather

This is probably the most expensive restaurant you can find in Kordon, İzmir. The prices are already high, in addition to three other problems; 1- The waiters brought two dishes of "something" we didn't order, nobody even had any idea. We thought it was on the house and didn't care much, as we hadn't ordered. When the bill came, we... More

Only once one soup (I forgor its name) was terrible, but it was like speciality from one part of certain fish and I didn't like... More

Today I had a business lunch at Deniz Restaurant and I was very satisfied with both the service and the food. Very centrally located, on the shores of Izmir Bay, yet without a striking view, this is a high end restaurant in Izmir. It has both an indoor and outdoor section. Though the weather was nice, we sat inside due... More

Had beefsteak, but was old meat and not at all nice. Service was good, but could be better. Expensive if you compare with other restaurants in Izmir of same standard.

Reserve your table. This is the best restaurant in Izmir and is always full, especially for Dinner. Great position, excellent fish and great service.

Food and service are both amazing; all local tastes and alcohol. It is quite expensive and fully booked during the week so make sure having a reservation before going there.
