Centrally located at the junction of the main pedestrian areas of Alsancak. A popular landmark meeting place. Good service and delightful deserts and sweets.

Sevinc is a nice place to eat some sweets or drink coffee/tea. It's located on the center of Izmir and the service is really good and fast. Of course it's not the cheapest place to go but I will return without any doubt to enjoy more food and drinks from their menu.

This place is very central and used by locals as a meeting point. Service is fast and waiters are kind. MErely, knowing its advantages they neglected the menu and the flavor of deserts. Sweets are average and coffe is not really desirable. Still good to have some Turkish tea and gaze at tresspassrs.

Since 1957 Sevinc has been producing cakes and pastries and I can attest to their quality and taste. There is a wide variety to chose from and there is also good coffee - though beware that the Turkish coffee is bitter and you will need your water and sweets to remove the taste of the grounds. Toilets were not quite... More

We we searching for baklava in Izmir and found that place. Although, stuff almost doesn't speak English, with a help of other customers we bought a mix of all sweets from menu. Everything was so sweet and fresh! Fantastic! I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for desserts

It is difficult to define Sevinç Pastanesi even with the help of the rich French culinary vocabulary. It is neither a restaurant, nor patisserie, nor brasserie, nor cafe. Although 'pastane' means something close to 'patisserie',in Turkish, Sevinç Pastanesi has lots of brasserie and cafe elements in it. Therefore, it is better to define Sevinç as a popular, clean, and modest... More
