We visited the Silk Road Restaurant on our third day in Göreme, and then came back every single day, sometimes twice a day, until we left. Their soup (lentil and tomato) is FANTASTIC, also the milkshakes. YUM. The staff is very very kind, the offered us complimentary tea while we waited for our last kebabs before our bus back to... I would not say that this restaurant has the best food the Göreme has to offer. However, it does provide satisfying and cheap options for a touristy area. They also have 30TL bottles of wine... Just saying. The employees are very friendly and the atmosphere inside is welcoming and relaxing. Great place to drink wine and hang out.

So far the worst food on our Turkish trip. Suppose it's OK if you wanna drink something but food was mediocre ( hummus and csorba ) and special chicken pottery kebab was a terrible experience.

My husband and I dropped in to have a glass of wine on a cool Nov. evening. The inside of this cafe was nice and cozy - the perfect place to warm up.! The staff were very friendly (even heading out to pick up some ceyrez for us), and the prices seemed very reasonable to us.

Comfortable, reasonably priced restaurant with a variety of local dishes on the menu. The food was good, and served with a sense of pride. The pottery kebab in particular was excellent and was much better and cheaper than at Istanbul. For those interested in a bit more of the local touch - there were 'hookas' for smoking - along with... We had a donor to go and it was good. Seemed like a good place to eat and good value for money however we did not try other things so cannot really say.

Good food but horrible service. I decided for this place after a chat with the chef. Unfortunately staff was more interested in playing with their smartphones instead taking care of the guests. I was served my starter before I got my drinks. While I was still eating my soup the main course was smashed on my table. Lamp chops are... More

Its an average place to eat but the waiters insist coming to your table a few times before you can make up your mind. I guess you get what you pay for here, open air restaurant.

Best restaurant in Goreme! The food was awesome and really cheap! I had the adana kebab plate, it was very well seasoned and moist! My boyfriend had the gozleme, which he loved, and my sister had the lamb pot kebab, which was very tasty as well. The drinks were also very reasonably priced.

Ate twice here, not exceptional by any means. Good Kebab. But don't like eating near piles of dirty shoes taken off by people eating on sofa section. Price reasonable.
