Local is inside of stone and it is not in the centar of Goreme but it is very close (10min walk)...Food was very tasty and very cheap, only place where we found kunefe and other traditional Turkish dishes. Everything is prepared from organic plants (that the owner of restorant is growing)...Service is amazing, thay are so friendly and polite. I would recommend to everyone who wants TRADITIONAL EXPERIENCE with amazing view on city and amazing food and service.

Walking to this restaurant is a beautiful experience in itself. Arriving to see its among a beautiful and unique landscape. The family that owns this place makes you feel right at home. Food is delicious and even though we went during COVID restrictions and could not dine in, they made it possible for us to enjoy their meal nice and hot suggesting we have a picnic near by. They suggested the location...AMAZING. They even lend us a blanket and pillows which we returned after our wonderful meal. They take pride in their food and their vegetable garden. Food is fresh and healthy. Highly recommend!!! Hospitality at its best!

Best restaurant in Kapadokya. Loved the view and the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was delicious - try the dessert and go for Künefe. It’s amazing. The owner Refik is super friendly and he made me feel welcome as a solo traveller and guest to his restaurant. Go there! You won’t regret it.

Family owned cute hidden place on the top of goreme remote from the city center. This place has its own charm and uniqueness, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is very peaceful. The prices are moderate. We loved it! definitely worth the long way up to the hill! If you order gozleme, ask for a special tomato sauce (it is not listed on the menu) The only drawback is luck of stuff (they are both waitresses and cooks) and thus a lot of confusions and long waiting time.

My family and I were looking for an escape from the business and high prices of food in town. We read the reviews and decided that head up to this lovely restaurant. We weren’t sure what the atmosphere looked like but the high review rating ensured a positive dining experience. This was our Favourite restaurant since coming to Turkey, not only does it have the most amazing views and atmosphere, the owner is kind and engaging. He was open to chatting with us throughout our meal, sharing stories from his past. The views were jaw dropping and the food to match. We were disappointed to hear he was closed tomorrow as it would be our last day in Cappadocia. The view, amazing smell of flowers, hospitality and delicious food make this restaurant a MUST for anyone looking for an incredible, authentic experience.

The only reason to come here is nice interior and view. The service wasn’t bad either however this one so far the worst food we have tried in Turkey. We ordered manti and Cappadocian. As you see on pictures, there was a tomato sauce in both of them. Manti sauce had no taste of garlic whatsoever, and the tomato killed all the taste. I could hardly feel any meat. Felt like I ate pasta with tomato sauce. Same with Cappadocian. It has no special taste and the sauce was extra. We also ordered some apple tea with tasted like powder and they added to much sugar. Price and taste don’t match at all.

Thought I’d visit here for lunch before leaving Göreme - and what a lovely memorable experience I had for my last meal there. The owner is wonderful, very friendly and with a great sense of humour. The restaurant itself isn’t huge; it’s really cosy and very popular with lots of repeat customers - which is always a good sign. Everything was freshly made, and my Patatesli Gözleme was superb - very tasty, but a bit too big for me to eat it all! Really enjoyed dining here, and I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. If ever I’m in Göreme again I will certainly be back for more.

This family run business was my go to for the whole trip! I stayed in Göreme 5 days and I always chose Kaan and his family’s restaurant for dinner time! I went alone as well as with friends and the food was always so delicious and very affordable! I can’t recommend this place enough: they have the best Gözleme, Köfte and Baklava! Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful place with this wonderful family and a mesmerizing view over the city! :)

Our lunch at Nazar Borek was among the best experiences of our few days in Capadocia and one of the highlights of our last two weeks in Turkey. The setting was magical: a cave restaurant on the edge of Goreme, and the food was wonderful. We had chicken chops, the Nazar Borek (a phyllo pastry stuffed with ground meat and cheese), and a Turkish salad. The chicken chops were juicy grilled cutlets of dark meat, and the flaky tasty borek was accompanied by a tomato sauce and yogurt. The Turkish salad was a nice accompaniment to both dishes. The price was quite reasonable. Although it was a bit of an uphill climb from town and somewhat difficult to find even with Google maps, and the service was a bit slow, if very friendly, I’d recommend Nazar Borek to anyone who can take the time to experience a relaxing meal in a lovely setting.

I Wanted something reasonable and authentic and found this place. It did not disappoint! The owner Rafiq is a gentleman and a great host. He explained that the majority of the produce used he grows himself and that was reflected in the flavor of the dishes. I had the Sigara Boregi and the Saç Tava, both were lovely! Rafiq even prepared a takeaway bag for my family resting back at the hotel. To top it off the setting is beautiful with amazing views.

This spot is great for home cooked food in a relaxed environment. It has several vegan options + great options for meat eaters. The family who runs the restaurant are lovely. It’s a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Goreme and offers great views. I would recommend.

Hands down the best service we’ve had in Goreme and the most beautiful location. Other restaurants are so over priced, busy and touristy but this place offers the typical top class Turkish service other places are missing. The owner who served us was super lovely. It’s a 10 min walk out of town and you’d think you were going the wrong way to someone’s house … but it’s definitely worth it! Such a peaceful location and a lovely wholesome experience. I tried manti (Turkish ravioli) for the first time and it was incredible! My boyfriend had the kofte which was also delicious. It’s the only place I’ve seen sweet gozleme too! I really wanted the chocolate one but was so full I couldn’t manage it. If you got to one place in Goreme make sure it’s here!

This is a very cute café located in the shade of a fairy chimney, somewhat off the main drag in Goreme. Delightful setting with flower gardens and views of the surrounding landscape. Friendly and prompt service. Delicious local cuisine at a very reasonable price! Recommend the manti (meat dumplings with yogurt and tomato sauces) and gozleme (grilled thin flatbread filled with cheese), which have many filling options available.

A really amazing , unusual place for Gozleme - we were in Goreme for two nights and on the first we were after a simple meal, so we gozleme near me and this restaurant came up. It was a 15 minute walk out of town to the historical preserved side of town. The restaurant has no centralised seating with a number of tables in the garden - we ordered two Gozlrmes and they were fantastic . The owner and his sons were terrific hosts . If you are after a truly unique experience amongst the local rocks then this is a must - Btw it was so good , rather than going to a fancy restaurant on the second night we went back !!

We had the mediterranean borek, minced meat and vegetable gozleme and menemen, turkish tea and apple tea. All was very delicious. The employees were very nice, welcoming and friendly. The restaurant has a nice view. Prices are suitable. If I’ll visit Goreme again, I’ll definitely come back.
