Went to this restaurant after reading reviews and seeing how full it is regularly. The testi kebabs were priced at a premium compared to other restaurants so of course we thought this would be a more authentic and worthwhile experience. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations, the testi kebabs didn't taste a lot different from other restaurants,... More

I reserved a table for two in advance on their website. We ordered a salad, a chicken pottery kebab and a mixed (3 kinds) dessert. The kebab is just ok, dessert didn't suit our stomach. Not so price worthy.

Hard to find a table and you need to book in advance. However, if you can manage to get a place totally woth the wait. You should eat testi kebap and try their house wine. The restaurant owner is also a very interesting person who travels around the world, lots of stories to tell.

We went here for a light lunch recently and had the meatballs, pide? And salad. It wasn't mind blowing, but it wasn't awful either. Got the job done but nothing particularly amazing.

Well dressed, typical Anatolian atmosphere. Excellent service, local wine and what is most important (at least most of the travelers) the best kebab in pot. When you're for one day in Goreme worth to visit one evening. Prices quite reasonable. Better to request in advance while as I was told preparation of real kebab takes 2 hours.

This was my second visit with a school group. This is a fantastic meal! We were given a variety of foods to sample (more than we could eat), each freshly prepared in a traditional home cooking environment. The highlight is the main meal, cooked in sealed clay pots, which the students got to crack open. The staff are a family... More

Great food - had the local dish, Testi kebab, slow cooked in traditional clay pots. House wine was very good too. Fabulous atmosphere in this 475 yr old house, that has been in the family for 5 generations.
