Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having booked this accommodation we set off from Adiyaman, then to Kahta, then into the wilderness by dolmus to be collected by a member of the family by the roadside and driven some 17 km to the Karadut Pension.
The room was mediocre, the “mountain view” obscured by overgrown vine and rubbish in the back garden. To operate the toilet you had to take the cistern top off and operate the valve every time. Lunch and dinner was average, breakfast excellent.
The family offered a full day trip to all sites around Mt Nemrut as well as a sunrise or sunset short trip, we took he sunset, magical and good price.
When time to leave they were very shifty about how to transfer to our next stop, wouldn’t willingly give us the times of local transport until we said we could not afford their private transfers. Apparently there is only one bus a day back to civilisation and that’s at 7am every morning,
Beware, don’t miss it.

I paid 50 tl for room- ensuite, hot water, wifi only in the restaurant area- plus breakfast and for that price i cant complain.
Its not very clean and the owners te d to shout as way of communication but they mean well and helped me getting from kahta to karadut. Alsi, its just 10 km from nemrut dagi visitors center.
The main defect of thd placein my view is thag it caters mostly to groups. I was woken up at 3 am by the noise one of those was making and gave up breakfast due to the crowds filling the dining area later on.AVOID WEEKENDS AND TURKISH HOLIDAYS.

Stayed here one night.
Have reviewed the accommodation separately.
Our tariff included both breakfast and dinner.
Both meals were very generous in size.
Lots of flavour.
Turkish breakfast included all the staple Turkish breakfast items plus eggs cooked to order.
No menu for dinner - we were provided whatever the days specialty was - fantastic home style meal.
Staff were very friendly.

Arrived late in the evening. They did not appear to have the family room we booked but they gave us two rooms for the same price. Rooms were a bit basic and the door if one could not be looked - but it was fine. We had a nice dinner in the garden. In the morning the breakfast was amazing - with large amount and great variety of food. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Souvenirs were very cheap.

We wanted to stop for a quick lunch, the gentleman who was there didn't speak English so we asked for 2 "dürüm wraps" and we asked how much it would cost, we didn't get an answer but then the owner arrived who spoke English and said it would be 15TL, we were then given 2 sandwiches with fatty meat in dry bread and a biz of tomato and onion. When we paid it turned out they wanted 15TL each!! I said this was too expensive and then he said (probably embarrassed after trying to con tourists) leave the last 5TL, so we still paid 25TL for 2 tiny tasteless sandwiches. This evening we paid 28TL for a full meal with salads and lots of meat and even home in Budapest you can buy a Turkish dürüm for as less as 7TL :-)
Please don't con tourists!

Up the side of the mountains above a small village with donkeys and farmers doing there daily business is a small quirky guesthouse.Close to Mt Nemrut and scenically beautiful. The atmosphere is fantastic just sitting in the grounds under a tree. The sons run it under the eagle eye of Dad and someone has taught them to cook .Out the back is a large veggie garden and what amazing food they create from it. My only complaint was stop I can't eat anymore! Dad will drive you up to Nemrut Daggi and to other highlights in the area, to far to walk to, at a very reasonable cost. I also need to thank him for organising my son and I onto a small local bus when the regular Volvo bus was full. He even got it to drop us via detour at the next bus station obviously knowing that Adana is not a place for solo females at present. I can't thank him enough for this foresight. I hope to come back.

This Pensyon is very cheap to stay in. The Kurdish village in small and in the hills. Locals and their mules go about their daily work with working mules. Food is again basic but tasty and real local everyday food. Brilliant. I'd love to return.

Karadut Pansiyon is a hotel in mountains close to Nemrut Dagi, and organises a whole range of trips and excursions. We were taken up to Nemrut Dagi in their minibus as our 20-seater bus was too big! We returned to the Pansiyon for lunch, which was excellent and the owners could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We started with a `gazpacho' - a cold yoghourt, mint and cucumber soup, which was delicious, followed by a hot lentil soup, which was just as good. The main course was a lamb stew with bulgar wheat and we finished with watermelon and tea. A feast. The Pansiyon has a number of souvenirs for sale, including some very attractive seat, cushion and wall coverings. We were not tempted though! A good place to eat and, I would think, to stay.
