Sottovento moved to a new location a couple of months ago- We have been regulars going once a week. We love the real home style cooking of pastas- starters and the weekly changing specials. Great selection of value wines. Sue the Chef owner is always ready to suggest. We love : Shrimp Parade Salad/ Seafood Cartuccio/ Grilled Vegetable Salad/ Mixed Polenta Starters/ All pastas/ going back soon

This is a really lovely little restaurant in Nai Harn, Rawai. Very comfortable and smart decor.
The menu is not large - which is a good sign - and is accompanied by a daily specials board. There is no pizza here. Staff and owners all provide a warm welcome and the chef takes the order which is a nice touch.
We have been here a number of times and just adore the ambience, food and wine that are available. The pasta and risotto options are what we focus on and they do not disappoint. Beautiful dishes of food prepared with real care. The wine list is also excellent.

Only began coming here recently and it is already a firm favourite.
Smallish menu and a selection of daily specials but it is still difficult to choose. My favourite dish has been the seafood risotto which is delicious. Portion sizes and just right too and it’s quality over quantity. A good wine list too and some can be bought by the glass and still very reasonably priced.
Looking forward to coming back soon.

Italian restaurant located towards Nai harn beach, few tables both inside and outside, you know that if you go you will always eat well. The dishes change very often and adapt to the freshness of the period. The meat is very good but also the fish. The pasta is like we do in Italy, well seasoned, well presented al dente. Excellent desserts. Kind, attentive service and normal prices for Italian style abroad

This is a little gem, hidden away, 5 minutes walk frm our Hotel. Authentic Italian food. Vey god Thai food. Grest drinks although they dont serve cocktails. Never mind, the beer, gin and tonic, and rum and coke are great. We ate here 3 times, we enjoyd it so much and the tiramasu was wonderful. Lovely staff, great service well worth a visit.

Loved it since years ago when this charming italian restaurant was at a different location. I come here every time I am in phuket. Fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked authentic italian cuisine and cosy environment with beautiful hosts. Thumbs up!!!

This was a lovely place with nice staff and a good choice of dishes. We opted to sit outside and although at the roadside a nice garden area disguised this. Or you can sit inside where there is air con. Decent prices.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. Proper tasty Italian cuisine. If you come to nai harn beach you have to come here but book as its small and always packed.

The pasta is aldente as it should be the products are fresh and of high quality. I had to order the bolognese twice it was that GOOD! Portions are on the smaller side but now I'm knit picking. No pizza on the menu.

This casual dining is well worth a visit.
Easy to find on the main road to Rawai - it is well worth a visit!
Everything we ordered was excellent with a very authentic italian taste.
Good, quick service and not expensive.
