I always make sure to visit Wasana BBQ each time I come to Rawai. Friendly atmosphere, the owners are always present and offer a great selection of foods that you 'cook' yourself in the Thai BBQ (covered coals with soup around the outside). No matter what your preference, fish, seafood, pork, chicken, offal, eggs, vegetables, there is something for everyone,... More

for just a few £'s you can eat as much as you like, meat & seafood is cooked on your own bbq, rice noodles and salad too washed down with a couple of beers. It's not a 5 star restaurant but it's good fun for all the family

Dinner for 4 plus child. Very welcoming and nice ambiance. A truly huge range of raw foods from seafood, fish, meat, offal, quails eggs and just about every type of vegetable.Add to this noodles, sauces which in my book amounts to a feast. Food of very good quality hygienically stored. Cooking over a steaming hot pot which adds to the theatrical... More

Food still very good quality and very big selection for your own barbecue. Nice Location with Ocean view. If you not eat what you take from buffet they charge you for that, very good idea

we were looking for some local thailand cousin for a dinner, so we have founded this restaurant close to our resort and provided us very nice experience. Well, we were a little bit confused at the begging cause u have to cook the food by yourself, but very friendly stuff had showed us how it is going on at this... More

Myself and my girlfriend recently visited wassana, and we were not disappointed. The cook-it-yourself set up was great! It was a little intimidating at first with so many choices to make but once we were shown the basics the rest was so easy, and we cooked delicious Thai food for hours. The staff were friendly but could have been a... More

This is a thai local place where you can have dinner with locals and eat from tupperware containers with some kind of hot stone on your table. Not a place to have romantic dinner but if you want to have the pure local thai experience, you should go here. People are very friendly but not speaking any word english.

An open-air restaurant with many tables. Meats & seafood are kept in refrigerated containers whereby you slide open the lid and select what you want. There is also a generous salad and vegetable buffet. Bring the selected foods to your table where there will be a Asian barbecue pot; charcoal heated with a metal dome on top where you cook... More
