Amazing resort with a great location to town! Den took great care of us from breakfast and to the pool! The breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever experienced. If you don’t find something to love it’s your problem not there’s! Thank you Den we will remember you!

During our one week stay at Amari Phuket, we had breakfast here every day. The attached pool bar additionally served us great cocktails and provided free drinking water with ice cubes and lime all day.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing due to the large selection of dishes (Thai, Chinese, Indian and Western). We especially loved the Asian selection, the juice bar and the coffee. The service was great and fulfilled all extra wishes you might have. This was mainly due to some particularly outstanding staff members: Jeab, Mookky and Sara. The friendly service combined with the high quality of the dishes served at breakfast made this one of the best breakfasts we ever had in Thailand!
The cocktails served during Happy Hour at the pool bar were delicious and comparatively cheap. The view while sipping our cocktails added to the strong feeling of being in paradise. Also at the pool bar, the staff was super friendly and highly qualified.

We have stayed at the excellent Amari Phuket many times over several years. We have had the pleasure of many quality meals at Rim Talay situated on the edge of the Bay of Patong. The entire area is beautifully decorated with flowers and mood lighting with dining under cover or outside on the edge of the sea. The extensive menu caters for all tastes, together with fixed price themed and barbecue buffet evenings every evening, at very affordable prices. Buffet breakfast at RimTalay is an unforgettable experience with an unbelievable choice of delicious dishes, everything you could think of and much more.
The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful particularly Monticha, Veena, Sara, Namcha, Da and Jackie.
Well worth visiting the RimTalay for a great affordable experience.

No! Oh my word, NO!
The buffet breakfast was bad! Most of the items under heatlamps had dried out, the coffee and juice was weak. The general selection was poor and it took a long time to clear the tables.
Drinking here was a disappointing experience - the little alcohol served was drowned in water. I ordered a Martini and instead received a martini glass with a spoonful of Martini Dry that was filled to halfway with ice water.
I do not know or understand how anyone can rate this place highly - perhaps they have never been to a good restaurant and bar in their lives? Fair enough, it would be a funny world if we were all the same, but honsetly, this place was poor for a five-star hotel restaraunt.

First and foremost, we are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience at Rim Talay. Please accept our apologies for it.
As you can see on all the very vast majority of our reviews, it is very unusual for us being ranked in the top 20 restaurants in Patong to receive such feedback and even more concerning thereby.
As we highlighted it on the Tripadvisor review you posted on our hotel, in the absence of any feedback, we were unfortunately totally unable to assist you with any of your concerns.
Having checked our records, we have noticed that despite the fact that you did not like our cocktails, you have kept ordering them regularly during your stay in all our outlets and never shared any concerns about them.
As for the weak coffee, most certainly, a simple request to the service staff would have made a difference. We gladly serve freshly brewed espresso, double espresso and ristretto upon request to guests who like stronger coffee. Guests can as well if they prefer help themselves directly at the fresh coffee machines put at their disposal on the breakfast buffet. The filter coffee - as in the majority of hotels - is served mild to suit those who prefer lighter coffee.
All your other comments have been taken on board. The points you raised are as many opportunities for us to improve our products and standards of service. Again thank you for taking the time to bring those very relevant matters to us.

We decided to eat dinner last night at Rim Thalay, for a Sea Food Buffet, at first, fantastic panoramic view of patong beach. Seated next to the beach and feels good. Not very hot wind is continues We order white wine, not much of a selections, but it was not a good wine. We start to get the sea food buffet. The sea food was nice but still a few selections, then we taste the Japanese food, sashimi tuna was not great taste, salmon was quite nice, but sushi with the rice it was awful taste and it was hard especially the rice and I think it was not even japanese rice or maybe it was but it taste awful to be honest, 1 kind of soup, Tom yum , which is spicy but we did not bother to taste it. We also noticed that the bin section where all the plates and left over is very near to us which is hygiene is not really good, some of cutlery are next to it and it feels not looks good, if the f&b staff are having a problem to walk a little further, which they should do, We don’t even see any supervisor or manager around the area. We did not finished our wine . And we ask if they can give us a holder or any paper bag and this lady came and she said we only have plastic, because we don’t have a choice and we say yes, then when she came back she brought 2 plastic bag is which super too much. And i hope Amari Hotel is joining the other hotels around Phuket by not using Plastic in the hotel or make it lesser, PLEASE. I hope you can make your buffet even nicer and good taste this year. happy new year !!!

That Amari is situated in a beautiful location on the headland overlooking Patong Beach. The Hotel is inspiring, but what makes it special are the warm and attentive staff. Our waitress Namcha and her assistant Fern were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet counters were laden with such a variety of food we were spoiled for choice. Everything from dim sum to sushi, Thai dishes to bacon and eggs. Loved the pool bars and restaurants, the reception staff took the time to sort out a problem we had with a connection to Krabi, all in all a very special experience.

Stayed at Amari for two weeks, the breakfast buffet included with your room was AMAZING. Every cuisine was catered for.
We ate at the restaurant several times for lunch and dinner and it was great too.
As someone with allergies I did find it very hard to communicate with a majority of staff and had to ask several people each time. In general we found it hard to get orders correct and maybe 50% of the time something was forgotten.
The pool bar drinks are great, especially the daiquiris. You do have to proactively ask staff though, there's no serving people sitting by the pool or on the outer tables.
Cooking class - we paid $60 (1500baht) per person, the class itself was great. Unfortunately there was major issues with booking via the front desk. We booked for four people and arrived to find only two were booked for and they thought our booking was an hour later, so we had to wait around. Chefs and food were brilliant though!

This place has outstanding service. We had breakfast here every day and wouldn’t go anywhere else as we were treated so well. They had a wide variety of fresh food on the smorgasbords catering for many nationalities. The staff make a huge effort to remember your name and conversations they’ve had with you. If you visit, please say hi to our favourite staff Namcha, Mook, Bee, K.jee, Zara, Tiger and the manager Ice.

I'm co-leading a group of 27 people, and it can be difficult to find restaurants that can accommodate a group of our size. I made a reservation at Rim Talay and am so glad that I did. From the moment we walked down the steps into the dining area, the staff was welcoming and the view was amazing. There are a range of prices, but you can find high-quality dishes at very good values. For example, they have a Phuket sampler for 500 B where you choose 3 out of 8 local dishes. Many of the reviews talk about the breakfast/brunch, so I wasn't sure if the same standards would be held for dinner, but all my expectations were exceeded. There's even a little wooden couples' swing off to the side to watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea. Our best dining experience in Thailand so far!

We ate at Rim Talay twice for dinner in our first 2 weeks in Phuket. We sat on terrace overlooking Patong Bay with beautiful sunsets. We had great service from GiGi and her colleagues, always present but not intrusive. The chef came out both times to see that we enjoyed our meals.
These were the best dinners we’ve had so far. Price was fair and seafood was very fresh and delicious

Hi Their service is excellent !! I really enjoyed the meals and if I needed something that was missing straight they brought it to me and if it ended straight they even prepared it for me especially. The service was generous, always with a smile and joy. I would not have been there if the service was better than that! Team names are-Ice, Da, Sara, Mook, Tume and Pui

We ate a seafood platter and it was so nice. We don't eat seafood often so they really took the time to explain how you eat things and what sauce is nice with it. The view on the sea is amazing en the staff is so friendly. We would recommend coming here. We had a lovely time!

This has become my favorite spot to take scenic sunset photos and also enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the staff. The food choices are very balanced for the sweet and savory options. We were entertained and accommodated by the really endearing staff who chatted and attended to our every culinary needs. It's a super romantic setting and overall an amazing place to dine and hangout!

We had dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea here.
Every staff was so kind with smiles, and we enjoyed foods and drinks with an ocean view. Especially the sunset we could see here was so beautiful.
Breakfast and afternoon tea were also good for me.
I would like to come here again.

Rim Talay serves the best breakfast buffet with a stylish mix of American and Thai foods. Their dinner and dessert options are very limited but good also. The outdoor setting is better than the indoor as the restaurant is right by the water and you can hear the waves as you enjoy your meal. There is the best view you can ever get with surrounding mountains and Patong beach view. Really friendly staff that help you find the perfect meal. Highly recommend, especially for breakfast brunch or romantic dinner.
Also the staff is the friendliest you will ever meet. DA helped me get all that I needed as well as the other staff. Truly wonderful service you’ll receive. The room service option is alright but takes time. Happy hour is there with a buy 1 get 1 offer. Definitely worth the try.
