We have been eating at Thai Smile ever since they turned their small bar into a restaurant many years ago. The restaurant is a bit bigger now with a few more tables and it is even more popular. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and fun to be around and they have amazing low season specials with prices starting at 69baht.
Most definitely worth a visit and they are popular for takeaway as well :)

This restaurant is the best restaurant we had during our stay. Everything is good, the service is top and the quality/price ratio is excellent. To find better in terms of price you have to go to street food with the hazards that this can cause. We were lucky that this restaurant was close to our hotel. We have a few other restaurants but they were less good and so this restaurant naturally became our canteen.

This is basic yet great food, mostly. Had a very dodgy couple of mussels in Panang seafood curry but loved the pad see ew, the prawn cakes and the sauce of the curry. Good service.

Very tasty food, great prices. Only query I have is that the duck tasted very much like beef. I could be wrong but i swear it was beef and a bit tough too. The massaman curry was delicious. Well worth the visit.

2 meals in, will be going back after trying other restaurants that didn't stack up. The green curry chicken soup was AMAZING . Also the Pad cha seafood: a good serving of seafood. Spring rolls also great.
Chicken satay a little dry and duck larb a bit fatty and not enough herbs.

It was a nice, quiet place in Patong. It was a popular restaurant with many customers. All the dishes were delicious, but the grilled lobster with garlic was the best. The tom yum goong was spicy but delicious! There were a lot of families there.

Oh my goodness!! What amazing food! It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and so cheap for the quality and portion sizes! I nearly stood up to applaud the chef after we ate it was stunning. Forget fancy restaurants. This is good home cooking and worthy of a million visitors a year. Well done guys. Well done! I am so in love with this place

Year after year a small restaurant that doesn't lack charm.
Shrimps cake more than generous, massaman curry one of the best in Patong.
Careful service.
In short, you should go there without hesitation.

We saw the reviews and at first thought it was a nice place to eat. However, after ordering we waited for 30+ minutes, no drinks or food. Asked the waiter whether we could have drinks and she said soon. After 2 minutes a giant cockroach appeared and we decided at that point to leave. No point of staying longer.

Went here after reading all the reviews. Walked through some narrow alleys and you take a short cut and this is on the main road. Service with a smile and the owner is there looking after you. Food was very good and priced reasonably.

The food was nice but the service was not good enough. As there’s lot of sticker on the wall that welcome with pay by Alipay, WeChat, VISA. However they finally refused for the above payment and asked for cash.
That was really bad experience. And they even told us “here is not China” Thailand welcome cash only. What’s a shame!

Delicious fresh food been 3 times in 3 days. All food delicious, have tried many dishes and do not disappoint. No need for extra spice as got good hit anyway. Highly recommend
