This restaurant lives up to all the reviews we read - it’s location alone should have 5 stars!
The menu offers Thai, Indian and European options that fitted our family perfectly.
Our teenagers opted for a korma and pizza where as our youngest joined us for a phenomenal selection of Thai delights. All the food was exceptionally cooked and very authentic to its regions.
We would recommend this restaurant to any family looking to enjoy a dinner that suits all culinary tastes.
The staff were genuine and attentive and made our entire experience effortlessly sublime.

We took a taxi from patong beach that cost 300Tbh however we are staying at the Marriott Merlin Beach and it’s a 5 min walk home!

WOW what a view!!!! If you visit Phuket this restaurant is a must!!!!
This is by far the best chill out restaurant with amazing views and exceptional fantastic food.
We stayed at the Marriott Merlin bay and the restaurant is only a 4 min walk up the small hill.
We have dinned here 4 times on our trip…. And definitely will be back!
The wine can be hit and miss around hotels in Phuket, but take a look at my pics.. don’t order by the glass .. get the bottle at this restaurant !!!
The owners are very knowledgeable about the island and of course the food! Mr Ahluwalia will recommend the best of Indian food and Thai and to be very sure his beautiful wife can help select great Thai food too!
I have been to Thailand many times but this is the first time I have posted ‘MUST try the food here’.
If you are travelling from far make the most of the day and bring your beach towel too, as there is clear sea and white sand at Tri Trang beach, this is just a minute walk away.
You can also feed and bath with the elephants 🐘 in the sea here.
If you love good wine and food like me … try Sunshine View and post your own comments.. you will see I am completely right and totally in love with the food and view at Sunshine View’

This was a gem of a place and the food amazing and delicious. We was staying at the Marriott down the road so fancied a walk to this beautiful open plan restaurant overlooking the bay and a clear view of Patong. Staff very friendly and accommodating, as it was getting dark the mosquitoes started to come at us so the staff gave us some mosquito spray and did the job! Food was fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced so I would highly recommend, also a very extensive menu so they accommodate for everyone. Go enjoy!

While we stayed at the Merlin Beach Marriot we went on a short walk and discovered this awesome restaurant! The Indian and Thai food was perfect! The staff treats you like family and you look forward to returning because it is like having a meal at a home. If you are staying at the nearby resorts in the Merlin and Tri Trang Beach area, it is just a short walk to this restaurant. If a rain storm comes up you can get a ride back to your hotel resort and spa. The view of Tri Trang beach along with Patong Bay is spectacular! At night the skyline of Patong is very romantic. This is a wonderful place to bring a date!

We found this lovely restaurant after watching the elephants bathe at the beach next door.
The staff were so helpful explaining the menu and enquiring if we had any dietary requirements. We got the baked fish in three sauces and it was brilliant. We came back a few nights later and couldn’t resist ordering it again. 😊
It was about a four min drive from our hotel in Patong and they offer you a free transfer to your hotel and are happy to collect you if you call ahead (thanks Pam)

Sunshine View is a little gem of a restaurant overlooking TriTrang Beach and Patong Bay. They offer an extensive menu of seafood, Thai, Indian and Western dishes, including pizza and burgers. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and managed to obtain seating where I had an amazing sea view. I fancied Indian for a change and opted for the Butter Chicken curry paired with butter naan bread, and so glad I did. The curry was buttery and creamy and flavours finely balanced with just a hint of fruitiness and spice. Chunky chicken pieces were tender and juicy and the portion size was perfect. One of the best Butter Chickens I have had. Considering the location prices were very reasonable; bank cards are accepted too with 3% surcharge. Staff were very attentive and smiling and their desire to please added to the experience. A must visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

We found this place whilst staying in the Merlin beach hotel. A 5 min walk from the hotel up a hill and this place serves the most delicious food at a very reasonable price. So much to choose from and the staff do their best to make you comfortable and happy. Not to mention the fantastic views across the bay to Patong

Wanted a change from the hotel restaurants and found this absolute gem up somewhat steep road from our hotel. Called to make a reservation and was offered to be picked up by the owner which we duly accepted.
From when we walked into the restaurant to when we left was a great experience.
The food is nothing like we have had at any other restaurant, so tasty and flavoursome, and such good value for money
Great margueritas too and not to mention the views.
Highly recommend a visit to this fabulous restaurant where you will not be disappointed and great to support local business in this part of the world.

This restaurant lives up to all the reviews we read - it’s location alone should have 5 stars! The menu offers Thai, Indian and European options that fitted our family perfectly.
The Indian Food is superb, and fresh to cook.
Special Mention to Aman, the owner who is brilliant, always offering to pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
Will definitely be visiting in July 2023.

We found this gem a short drive from Patong beach, we were staying at Baan Yin dee hotel not far away, the view was gorgeous, a lovely breeze, fans on, relaxing background music, excellent food we tried Indian it was delicious. They offer Thai, European and Indian. Seafood also looked amazing. Great cocktails and as we were staying close by we got offered a free ride home. We are definitely going back . The service was excellent. Great for afternoon drinks with a view and stay for dinner. Peaceful and quiet. Great vegetarian dishes.

We are staying nearby so walked up the hill a short distance to have dinner here on a very hot night .
Lovely people running the place, staff are very friendly.
A open air restaurant looking out over the Bay into Patong Town, lovely looking at all the lights.
Ordered a beer and a cocktail called SIX ON THE BEACH, it was very refreshing.
The food took a while to arrive after ordering, quite a busy place, being open air it was quite hot in there.
We had the Spring Rolls, a noodle dish, Sweet and Sour Prawns and a Thai Papaya Salad. It was all very delicious, a nice place to eat.

Cannot recommend more highly! The staff gave us complementary transportation to and from our hotel, and the service was just as good at the restaurant. The selection of Thai and Indian dishes was impressive and we sampled many dishes from both cuisines, all of which we loved. I tried the Panang curry (a classic Thai curry) and thought it was the best I’d ever had, including here in Thailand.

This restaurant was amazing , the service and the food. We had the sizzling chicken and its the best Indian food we had ever eaten. The restaurant has a menu to suit all tastes , Thai , Indian and European. Also the view is stunning and it's so relaxing you can sit for many hours . They even picked us up from our resort and it was no problem for them. The staff were so friendly and accomidating. Will be back for sure .

We came here on our last night in Phuket as it was just around the corner from our hotel and wow we were impressed. My husband said his fried rice was the best he’d had in Thailand and I absolutely loved the Indian. The view was amazing as was the service and attention to detail. Thank you for topping off our holiday with a beautiful dinner enjoyed by all.

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant was just amazing as our 1st. The food is delicious and the service outstanding. If you like Indian and Thai food this is a must. Also does burgers, pizzas and other food if you have fussy kids. Totally recommend a visit.
