Tucked away at the end of a small road off Bangla, this place is not obvious but what a great find. If you are into plentiful and tasty pub type food served up by friendly staff and in a nice setting then this is the place for you. Apart from a host of decent offerings, there are daily specials to... More

It is five years since I visited this restaurant, an island of western food in a sea of noodles! I am much too old to adapt to Thai food and this place serves the sort of scoff that a lifetime of eating has become the norm. roast beef and yorkie pudding with carrots and peas as well as roast lamb... Fantastic Thai and Western cuisine. The Islander is off the main strip of Bangla Road. Head towards the end of the road and it's on your left. Once you've had some food why not go and relax in the massage spa opposite?!

Walking to Bangla road and came across this lovely restaurant and bar. The next day we decided to give it a try and we were both very happy with our meals. I enjoyed chicken with mushroom sauce and omg the hand cut chips amazing. My partner ordered the cottage pie which was of decent size and hand cut chips. Will... More

In our 2nd week in Thailand and had enough Thai food and some time on toilets we followed a verbal recommendation to this place. The staff were locals but understood our requirements perfectly. The food was traditional English Fare including mushy peas and pork sausages. Cottage pie and gravy and so much more. Staff friendly and attentive. Prices pretty standard... More

We popped in hoping for our favourite Sunday roast, not realising they do different ones on different days. So I went for the next best thing, full English which was outstanding & my husband had the cottage pie. Great food & value for money. Will be visiting again.

A really nice restaurant with lovely food and good for those who like their European style food whilst still being help to have local traditional food as well. Well priced and therefore good value. Definitely go there.
