A great go to place for excellent food, drinks and service

Since we found this place years ago it has always been our go to restaurant in Patong. Always a great welcome from Wal, the owner, and all the staff. The food is absolutely delicious - fresh, tasty and cooked to your preference. Everyone we have...recommended to go there has come back with glowing reports. A few years ago we found that they also do brilliant cocktails. Singapore Sling is our favourite and is the best we have tasted in the world. Please try one if you go there. We have been going to Thailand for 29 years and have always sought out places like this. This time the restaurant was quiet by comparison with previous years so we sincerely hope that high season has brought in more customers to keep it going. Best wishes to everyone at Sweets for continuing success.More

Give this Sweet place a try

Fantastic, We are currently on holiday in Patong and have been to eat here a couple of times. It’s a gem but a tad hidden when all the stalls pop up at night, it’s listed on a large illuminated sign with other eateries, on the...road side, but look for the large blue glass gem centre and Sweet is in a small mall down on the left. The service is excellent and the food amazing and well priced, try the ginger fish! The owner is charming, what’s not to love, we’ll be back again before we leave . ,More

Recommended spot in Patong

Recommended spot, this is our first trip back since Covid and we used to love going to Breakpoint, which has unfortunately closed down. This spot is right opposite where Breakpoint used to be! Great,Cheap and Delicious food and cheap beers and cocktails #recommended #greatfood #chilledspot

Great value for money, yummy food. Thai & Western - something for everyone.

Such amazing food we ate here twice out of our 5 night stay in Patong. Gorgeous Thai Food, super yummy Western Food. We were a group of 8 - 4 adults, teens and children and there was something on the menu for everyone. Great value...for money. Each Family of 4 with drinks averaged 1300THB Staff were amazing and first night owner came over for a chat. I highly recommend this place and will be on the list for next time.More

Never Disappoints!

Great Restaurant in Patong for everyone!

We have been visiting the Sweet Restaurant for nearly 10 years and it is amazing! Always our first food stop in Patong!The food is great, and great value for money!!! The staff are also lovely and always accommodating! Owner Wal is often in the restaurant,...always welcoming, talking to customers, and often has a story to tell. Can’t rate the place high enough! Give it a go!More

Great food run by Aussie

Wonderful restaurant run by a chirpy Aussie bloke. Service is quick and easy and the food is also fantastic, and reasonably priced. Recommend the massman curry!

A good find

A nice place with a friendly Australian owner. Basic, but fairly priced food for lunch or evening. Best beer prices in this part of town for an evening relaxer as well.

Definitely worth visiting. Great food at reasonable prices.

Excellent food .. Big Wal has run this place forever. Reasonable prices , can get busy so get there before 8pm Chicken satays and spring rolls a must!!

A great find down a side street in front of Patong Tower. Tasty Thai dishes with a fun Aussie atmosphere.

A really good local dinner - we had the beef massaman curry and garlic pepper stir fry prawns. Both were very tasty. The bruschetta starter was fresh and a nice compliment to the spicy dinner

Great Thai food !

Great restaurant for Thai and some western food. Everyone do their best to get you satisfied. You can choose one of their great plates and ask for any change without any question. I have been going there for the last 3 days since I discovered...it and will keep going for the rest of my holidays.More

Reliably delicious

Excellent Thai food & other options!

An old favourite that consistently serves up great local dishes and plenty more to please couples and families alike. Great service and very good value. If your looking for a cheap great lunch or dinner which will cover all your needs, this is the place....Thai, Aussie, fries and Pizzas too, something for everyone at a budget price. Fit it in early on your trip as I’m sure you will want to go back again!More

As good as ever!

So great to be back to our favourite restaurant in Patong. Wonderful that Wal has got it back up and running and great to have such a welcome from him and all the staff. Food is as excellent as ever and so much choice. Missed...this so much the last two years after enjoying the place for so many previous years. See you next year!!More
