A typical low cost vegetarian restaurant with religious affiliations, to be found in most Asian countries, and in some Western as well. Reliably cheap, communal, non-wasteful, sustaining and quick. Not a place to "go for dinner" but a great place to get one's fill. Right by the night market (basically in a street behind the main stage) and super easy!

I am not veggie myself but went with a friend who is... the food is delicious, plentiful and cheap - we went twice in our 4 night stay! The people are lovely, but be aware that it closes early.

Tasty Thai veggie food. Lots of choice. Friendly and great value. Free soup. No frills service. Highly recommended.

Lovely veggie place with loads of point & choose options. Great range and lovely rice. Free water, too. It's behind the food court of the night bazaar but closes at 7pm. Pricing wasn't totally clear, but was still cheap for the quality and quantity we ate! Would definitely recommend it - was pleasingly and unusually ungreasy, too.

I found out about this on a couple of backpacker sites, and when I was in Chiang rai we asked a couple of the locals for a recommendation and they gave the same answer for veggies - oasis. Service and surroundings are a little basic, but the food and the cost is excellent. So many choices and all freshly cooked... More

This restaurant is the best vegetarian food in town! I kinda surprise how can they created the menu and cook it perfectly. Dun miss the Chinese noodle or we called 'Kuy Tiew Lord' ~ yum yum yum

This was a pleasant little find right near our hotel (The North Hotel). It worked on an honesty system whereby you got your coffee packet off the shelf and made your own coffee (yes, those dreaded three-in-one coffee mixes!); and ordered things from a vast range of vegetarian offerings on display - or they would cook noodles to order. You... More

Found behind the main stage of the night bazaar this vegetarian/vegan restaurant had delicious and varied food. Don't let the look deter you; the food is fresh and delicious. It certainly does not look like what you would expect of a "normal" western restaurant. I can only describe it looking like the cross between a shop, warehouse, cafeteria and truck-stop.... More

I have sympathy for a previous reviewer who had a vegetarian meal only to find it had fish sauce. All the vegetarian stir-fried vegetables you have had were cooked in the same pan used three minutes ago for stir-fried pork. But although this is a vegetarian restaurant, don't skip it if you eat meat. Things to say: 1 Very good... More

Unfortunately I discovered this place only on my last night here in chiang rai. It's near to the night market and it is open until 8pm. They have different dishes, all of them vegetarian. If you come late (like at 7pm) they give you the dishes so cheap because they have to close and it seems like they don't want... More
