in the middle of the always-crowded tourist city, Arusha there is this cafe with great teas and coffees, good food and lovely staff. They have a good wifi so it is ideal to work from here as you might do it in Europe. There are small shops, post office and banks nearby so you can do your business from here.

This place is a total rip off. Their credit card machines didn't work despite all the visa and MasterCard stickers all over their restaurant and when I had to pay with USD, they forced me to use the most ridiculous exchange rate of 1800 to the dollar (real rate is ~2200). They were rude and unapologetic. The two steak burgers... More

Located just near the main clock tower in the centre of town, this upbeat, modern cafe is a hit with locals and tourists alike. Great coffee, food and atmosphere as well as free wifi.

We had a morning in arusha after our safari before we went to the airport. We really enjoyed spending a couple hours chilling and drinking coffee and using the fast wifi. Friendly and modern and clean, the coffee was 5 stars and my sister liked her smoothie. Prices were steep but for the standard was fair.

Africafe is open early in the mornings (7:30 on weekdays)! I've had several items from their menu and have enjoyed them. My favorite is the passion fruit iced tea. Much better than any I've ever had before. Wi-fi works on my phone but is not strong enough to work on my computer, and it goes out frequently.

Came here a few times with my girlfriend and family. Most times were OK except for our last time when some of the food was served cold. Also, my father only got his salad after we were all finished with our food. Manager did try to fix the problem and didn't charge us for the salad but it was still... More
