We stayed 2 separate nights in this hotel with 1 week gap in the middle, whilst visiting Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro crater, & Lake Manyara. Arusha is the gateway to these wonderful attractions. The hotel staff are quite rude, the food is very poor in both range & quality and in our rooms the hot water had to be run for... More

Ugly looking hotel but incredibly good Indian food at reasonable prices. Good portions and the kitchens are open-plan. We were asked about how spicy we wanted every dish which was very much appreciated.

Bustling upscale hotel with all the Western commodities. If you miss your Sheraton or Hilton then Karibu! Not for the backpacking crowd. If you miss the amenities of back home then book here.

Went to the restaurant for luch with family. The children enjoyed the pizza as it was large and delicious, however the chinise (chicken wings and vegetable spring rolls) were not very delicious, they need to improve on the same. The service was abit slow given the place was not very packed. The cost was average and affordable

Returned to the Impala Hotel restaurant for a shared dinner with 6 others. This was my 4th dinner there and returned because the food is good, reasonably priced and it is popular with locals. Everything is prepared in full view. The range of offerings is quite broad and each dish was quite tasty. Service was prompt but there was a wait... More

First of all all was the welcome from the staff, they made us comfortable. Our room was cozy and warm made the wet and rainy day in Arusha so worth it. Timely Room service throughout. Rooms decor might look dated but it works. Its like an experience you cant recreate elsewhere. The Impala pizza is a must have!

We stayed here one night when we left our other hotel in the middle of the night because of wedding and birthday celebrations right outside our room. Luckily, the Impala had space. Unlike most places in TZ, the Impala does not offer resident discounts. The room we were given had been renovated but it still felt dirty. There was a... More

I was totally surprised by the amazing indian food at Impala hotel - it is very much worth checking out if you are in Arusha. I went with a group of about 6 people who all ordered different items and were all equally delicious. Price was good (not super cheap, but not expensive), however the service was a little slow... Had a couple of drinks at the bar, served by an indifferent tender that was more interested to chat with his colleagues than providing a friendly service. Had the feeling l was disturbing. The food was catastrophic; my guest and myself wanted chicken wings as a starter but there we none anymore and where offered to choose an octopus salad... More

The Impala is so conveniently located in Arusha! It is your one stop spot for all your tourism needs. The rooms are smallish but clean & comfortable. The buffet meals are not nec award winning, but very good & filling. And, if you need to climb on a shuttle to Nairobi or Moshi, the Impala is the rendevous point. I... More
